The fort of Kumbhalgarh is steeped in history from Rana Khumba to Maharana Pratap. The fort itself has the longest boundary wall , second only to the Great Wall of China. Sadly, the place is not well coordinated and parking can be a huge challenge. The fort itself, while preserved decently, has no signs of explanations. So, you are left wondering on the architecture and history of the place. If you do hire a local guide to show you around it would add charm to the tour.
