Personality is part of ego tho so when the person dies the ego ceases and then so does the personality. Therefor the soul experiences a new egoic structure in every new body and so a new personality also.
When a person dies only the physical and pranic bodies are discarded, the ego operates at the astral level too. That decides the vibration of the person and the astral realms he will move to after death. In the next lifetime the new physical body is designed as per how the mind and vibrational states of a person operates. The person in the new lifetime just picks up from where he left in his previous lifetime. Our personality is built over many lifetimes and the ego is part of our subtle body.
How do we take on karma ?? What is karma ?? And do we have free will in any action ?? When energy works on solar plexus we do actions but those actions gives us a sense that we are doing it , i have done something.is this the ego ?? Exactly on what we hold our power ? Is it our actions or decisions ?? If we r doing something then why we have that inner voice telling us to do something else when outer circumstances are not in our hand . If the circumstances are not in our hands then its not on which we hold power ,.then If we even accept as it is everything then why inner voice keep telling something else. I dont know what i have written but its all eating me inside my head .
That is just your mind telling you, ego operates through it. Your attachment to your thoughts and actions generates the sense that you are the thinker or doer. This false 'I' is the cause of your misery. Spiritual evolution releases you from this misery
