Good movie,... except that RU-vid totally spoils the impression with absolutely unnecessary ads. RU-vid is not what it used to be. This type of movie is great.
It's hard to keep reading and watching at the same time, cause I don't want to miss none of the action not even one move, but I love the grace in which she moves it's awesome. 😅

For me, who don't watch movies, was enjoyable and beautiful. I think, it was an episode only. Do I want to watch more? Maybe in 6 months. The bamboo hat lady didn't have much role.

Is that tree where the heroine climbs real? Is it native to the place where the film was shot or is it fake? I think these trees are so cool that I wish I had one in my yard🙃😁
The tree is in the pine family. Very comon around shrines in Japan where I've seen them. Probably other parts of Asia as well since they share the same climate. I believe they are pruned to develop interesting shapes. Kind of like a topiary or banzai.

That's so frustrating. Why did the subtitles run out half way through? The YT subtitles are terrible. I have to keep rewind, play, rewind, play, trying to figure out what they mean. I was loving it until then.
