Fun Fact: There is also a head canon that Shen not only killed the pandas but all animals the resembled black and white. Tai Lung also fits that category so if Shen never went on a war path Tai Lung wouldn't have been on the Temple grounds and Po wouldn't be dragon warrior. It was all destiny for it all to happen

There’s just one thing that stops that from actually being true: Tai Lung and Po aren’t the same age. Tai Lung was a baby cub when he was left at Shifu’s doorstep, after being taken in he was trained by Shifu for years before being locked up for an additional 20 years of his life whereas Po is clearly a young adolescent at best. Both couldn’t have been orphaned around the same time no matter how much you look at it.

yup, this comment was on another react video and my argument was the same: the timeline is way off. Po and Tigress are about the same age and Tigress was a child brought in after Tai Lung’s imprisonment. Twenty years ago. And obviously it was a while after that, as Po has no memory of Tai Lung laying waste to the valley village (where he lives) so it happened before he arrived at Mr Ping’s home. It’s a fun theory but unfortunately completely impossible.

Tai Lung is grey and white. Clearly not black and white. Come on. Same to those ppl who are saying that the warrior in the prophecy is Shen. Shen is red and white, with a little black. He is not a black and white animal.

37:47 tbf Po already knows her backstory and by extension the other members of the Furious Five, it’s heavily implied in the short animated film “Secrets of the Furious Five”, which takes place in between the 1st and 2nd movies, that Po has spent a considerable amount of time getting to know and working together with the Furious Five hence why he has great team synergy with them in this movie and why they act as such good close friends to Po. Btw I do recommend watching “Secrets of the Furious Five” if you want to get familiar with the current Furious Five’s origins and the important lessons that each learned that helped shaped them into the characters we see in the movies.

I think they cover more of the Furious Five’s backstories in the TV series. Some say Shen (a warrior of black and white) defeated Shen with ambition and at the end he just surrendered and accepted death. Thanks for the great reaction.

This, prince of eygpt, puss in boots: the last wish, shrek 2 and rise of the guardians are my favorite dreamworks films. Honestly they are probably the best ones. Also mr. Ping is the best animated dad.

In the short Secrets of the Furious Five, we learn that Tigress grew up in an orphanage. She spent her formative years feared and ostracized, and had internalized a lot of that self-loathing until Shifu adopted her.
