What I love about this scene is that it talks directly to you. You can feel all the emotions about Po backstory. When Soothsayer says, "Your story may not have a happy begging, but that doesn't make you who you are." Keeps me in chills Also, the soundtrack really helps with the tone of what I'm talking about
This scene has always broke my heart 😢 💔 because not only Po thought his parents had abandoned him as an infant, he found out that his parents never did abandoned him, his mother gave her life to save her son, but at least Li Shan is still alive
That flashback scene alone is why this movie is actually my favorite film of all time. Such a beautiful message, amazing characters, amazing villain, amazing plot, amazing action, amazing acting, and an amazing soundtrack. Everything about this movie screams masterpiece in my opinion. There will most likely never be another Kung Fu Panda that tops this one, no matter how hard they try.
Personally as a longtime fan I had concerns going into KFP 4 but I was hoping that maybe I could be surprised and maybe it could've been slightly below KFP 2 but when I came out of it, I liked it but as a longtime fan since 2008, I was pretty heartbroken.
This is a reference to Bruce Lee saying “Empty your mind be formless, shapeless like water” and po did just that and he also found out inner peace he used Emotional Content. But besides that I felt so much emotion watching this now.
cinematic masterpiece, amazing plot, beautiful message and the clip of him and the water droplet AHHH i love kfp 1 and 2 so much (the others kinda flopped for me and didnt make sense :( )
Only reason I didn’t cry when I first saw this in theaters as a little kid was because I didn’t want my dad and brother to see. Looking at this today, I still get very emotional as someone with PTSD this is something I relate to on an insanely deep level
