This movie does so many things right. The characters, their development, the fight choreography, the lessons, how well it depicts ancient China, it's all so great. One part I really like, and often see overlooked, is how after Po lays out his insecurities to Shifu, we see that Tigress heard the whole thing and finally started to soften up and feel sorry for him, and realized he was actually taking Kung Fu seriously, not "treating it like a joke" as she previously stated.

Tai Lung LITERALLY means "The Dragon"; also, he's a snow leopard.

R.I.P. Michael Clarke Duncan, the voice of the Rhino prison guard, and Ian Mcshane also played Blackbeard in the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie.

“Oogway Ascends” is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever composed.

Something I always liked with this film is how Po doesn't get all jacked once he learns kung fu. He remained his true chonky himself and his body shape helped contribute to beating Tai Lung

A film about a fat panda doing kung fu sounds like potentially the dumbest thing ever. But the excellent characters, excellent humor, and a wonderful message turn it into something great! The message about working with your best qualities to fulfill your destiny is so well realized, with the training sequences that help fully embrace that. Seriously, this franchise is way better than it has any right to be.

I love that no matter how many times I watch people react to this movie they all share one thing in common… No one knows what a Snow Leopard is 😂😂

I love how it seemed like Po was only treating the whole 'Dragon Warrior' thing as a joke at first, only for him to show that he was serious about it and _wanted_ to learn Kung Fu the whole time, but he was too self-deprecating that he never saw himself as someone able to do what the Five are capable of doing.

Ti Lung trying to fight Po is like punching rubber, the one thing that was telegraphed to us about Po since the day he entered the Palace is that he can take punishment because his chubby constitution allows him to absorb blows that cripple others like the Prison guards, furious 5 or master Shi fu paired with his indomitable perseverance He's Ti Lung's counter because no matter how hard he can inflict damage Po can Take it and literally bounce back and even redirect that energy back onto his opponents, Ti Lung is all about overwhelming his opponent with brute force which is why his fight with Po seems so comical right after his fight with Shi fu was so serious It's because Ti Lung's brute strength just isn't working against Po and after a little while it becomes clear that he can't beat him since thats all he has

in a other reactions I’ve seen most people don’t recognise where Tai Lung’s rage comes from, and tend to not notice how his expression softened for a moment when Shifu apologised to him, so I really appreciated how u guys did in this reaction ^^ it’s a really important moment for his character imo that’s included in such a subtle detail.

You know, pandas aren't actually fat. All bears, including pandas, are extremely muscular but have thick layers of fur that make them look fat.

Kung Fu means...something along the lines of EXCELLENCE OF SELF, so, its really about finding your own "groove" and mastering everything about YOURSELF. Po, however, is trying to fit into a mold that was NEVER made for someone with his physiology or fighting style.

Tell ya what. One that alot of people was their first movies and tons of nolstolgia. Then a shit flick. Turnes into a decent third(amazing series if you include games cutscenes and leave 2 out) Pixar cars trilogy. Owen wilson, larry cable guy, paul newman(rip), john ratzenberg, Soundtrack for 1 holy $$$$ man is it good. Def a recc to watch As fkr a quickie show to watch. Amazon prime, Or website that has all episodes. Catscratch. Think regular show but x100.

Kung Fu Panda also had a TV series called "Kung Fu Panda Legends of awesomeness" but it's hard to find, but if you can please react to it, the show also takes place after the first movie.

I remember watching this movie in the theaters when I was 8 with my dad back in the day :) still a good movie to this day. And yes, Jack Black voices Po the Panda. His voice acting is fantastic. There are many other recognizable names that voice the other characters such as Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, Dustin Hoffman, etc. Would like to see reactions to the other KFP movies. I hear a 4th one is coming out soon.

Feathers from a bigger bird are very sturdy. I found a flacon feather on the hike once. It's pretty but the calamus of the feather is strong and sturdy. Makes sense as to why people used to use them as pens in ancient days.

Its so weird to me how many reactors struggle with the idea of ADOPTION. The first time i saw the goose, my first thought was huh...probably adopted. But almost every reactor ive seen is like...huh what how... Duh....adoption.

Tai Lung was trained from BIRTH in the art of kung fu, years of his life all the way up until he went to prison was he told by shifu that he’ll eventually be the dragon warrior, getting praised by him, training day in and day out and one day when he thinks he did enough work and he’ll be chosen, they tell him no. they told him it wasn’t his destiny when he worked too hard for it not to be ofc he’d run rampant through the village

I think one of the best subtle parts to this is how you see Shifu learning to smile and actually enjoy teaching kung fu again when he's with Po.

One thing I like about this movie is that it's about following your dreams no matter what. If you truly want something or believe in something, go for it. Oddly enough, the school of rock is in the same boat to an extent.
