Seeing that Tai Lung accepted the fact that Po is the dragon warrior and felt happy to see his master (and father) and his disciples makes me feel very good, Tai Lung also seems to have accepted that what matters in the Life is choosing who you are right now, without letting your past define you.
Forget black and white, it was the fact po became a perfect yin ☯️ yang symbol when he held the last ball, he already knew a panda would be the one to beat him, but that was the moment he went, "shit, its this panda", i also love how if shen hadn't attacked the pandas, no panda would have had the guts to face him (they by that point had forgotten ki and fighting), po would have never been adopted and thus woulf have lived in panda village, meaning he would have never become the dragon warrior and shen would have succeeded, shen literally made the future that was predicted happen because of his anxiety
Since the villians reactes to po's battles with kai and lord shen, maybe they should see how it went with tai lung, he doesn't have to be there of course, bjt the others might get impressed with po's first battle

They kinda HAD to nerf him, for both plot and for it to not end too early, its supposed to be him learning self control, while teaching blade to not be too strict, in order to control himself he cant use his ki or etc, as he could get pretty wild with it
