Impeccable demonstration! Thank you for sharing! Did you construct/build this CLF dummy yourself? Purchased? Years ago I purchased tapes from the GM Doc Fai Wong’s Plum Blossom Foundation, to learn some of the basics. I LIKED IT very much but they never expanded to teach in my home state in North America. I pondered the expense to continue to train via their media but ultimately decided it was not the best for me, given a tape/CD is not the same as a real teacher, learning in person. I have always wondered how Choy Lee Fut would be like to learn in person. May I ask where you were trained? Peace, Eric.

This dummy was custom made but others can be found and purchased online. If you really want to learn more, start with what you have and take action. Once you put in the effort, new doors will open. When the student is ready, the master will appear.

@@naamkuenkungfu Well spoken! Thank you for the advice. I am not without some knowledge. My Tao Sifu moved out of state, left for Oregon. He taught me a lineage of Northern Shaolin Kung Fu, which he called Northern Shaolin, School of Tao Chi. He is a Taoist. When I see your footwork, hand to elbow, to shoulder explanations, it all seems relevant to the circular and tension-release experiences I had in my youth when training under his tutelage. I could endeavor to follow some of your videos here in youtube. Peace! ~ Eric
