Anyone that can put us in touch with Buakaw's team, I would love to interview them. Also, Kungfu Master too. I'm totally down to interview Yanlong or the promotion. 认识播求或王延龙的朋友请跟他们打打招呼。随时联系我做采访!
you could tell kung fu master was SCARED from the start. Look at his face. Buakaw is a pure fighter, pure killer, plain and simple. You can see the calmness, even when he's raging.
You want to be a bit scared and anxious in a fight without it you'd get obliterated as it gives you a certain edge and alertness. explains also why bukaw got caught early on a few times.
Baukaw & his team are the most polite friendly guys you could ever meet. Always enjoy seeing him represent his country on great style. True Champion & very proud Thai 😎🌹🇹🇭🌶🔥
The kung fu master actually had my respect at first, for actually having some moves unlike all the fake masters out there. However, then he lost it when he started kicking Buakaw in the nuts several times, while also complaining about just a single knee to the belly.
Buakaws level of experience and confidence is like a father rumbling with his young son: Fully aware that he can win at any time, but doesn't want to crush his son's spirit.
Buakaw mentioned on his channel that the K-1 rules that they're fighting under here only limited knees because it was Buakaw himself who kneed his way into K-1 victory which upset the Japanese and forced them to change rules to limit knee strikes, so he was well aware of how many knees he could throw And still this Chinese dude couldn't take the one knee...
Yes, but many people said it's better to changed the K-1 rules (because Buakaw case) at that time because if not changed the rules all Muaythai fighters included Buakaw would win much more easier and it's not fun anymore my friend. Even they changed the rules Buakaw still won the Champion many years in a row at that time, So why not. LOL
What a flashy coward - he got scared my the monster and ran away. Having had a little training in kung fu, I would love to see it being taken seriously, but it can’t be when clowns keeping making a show of themselves. Great video - thanks for the entertainment
Buakaw uberchad for entertaining the crowd after the "fight" was over. They should do a rematch with the rules straightened out beforehand. Would give props to the Kung Fu guy if he'd step up again. No matter my style I wouldn't enter a ring in a serious fight vs Buakaw. He's a f-ing monster. But I'd absolutely go and train with him... incredible fighter. :)
@@hattorihaso2579 yeah. But you should keep something in mind, Muay Thai people would clearly have the advantage if they fought on Muay Thai rules as they would be able to use techniques that their opponents probably haven't trained for, but in Kickboxing rules, both the Muay Thai practitioner and their Kickboxer opponent will be able to properly use those techniques that are permited. In order to allow Muay Thai-specific techniques against a kickboxer, i would say that they shoukd be in a MMA fight to even things out (spamming the leg kicks and going for the clinch is way more dangerous for the Muay Thai person) but the match will probably end up with grappling rather than striking
He realized those knee shots from Buakaw was too much for him to deal with. He didn't want to fight anymore after he started the fight throwing crazy kicks (some illegal) from North, South, East and West.
@@peekaboopeekaboo1165even if he was a “master” kung fu is a joke. Ive seen literal “masters” get absolutely destroyed by amateur boxers with one hand tied behind their back. One supposed master was even claiming t9 be a disciple of Ip Man, and still got *beat down* into a pathetic mess by a boxer with one hand tied.
The entire event organizer is also the company that signs this chinese dude as an actor under their management. Maybe they already discussed with him in private, to purposely kick Buakaw over and over again in his groin? And if it still fails to make Buakaw give up the fight due to unbearable pain...to maybe get a draw out of the match the very moment Buakaw gives a knee. So he might have already rehearsed the entire drama he will be showing, after getting knee from Buakaw. Even the judges initially wanted to give them a draw. But the spectators are all against Wang, so the match becomes nullified, instead of rightfully giving a TKO victory to Buakaw. I mean, take a look at all the chinese language news describing this event. Most of them are saying how Buakaw nearly lost the fight at the beginning, and tried to give a knee just to prevent being KO by Wang...which then made Wang unhappy. At least, that's the narrative many of their chinese media are reporting.
Im Chinese, and learned kung fu for few years.... definitely Buakaw won the fight... But it's not about kung fu or any Martial arts... Not even the race... I think it's more about... the years and how nasty you train in all the years .. Kung fu focus much on forms, repetitions... And elegance... With each movement, much focus and time is spent on having the perfect form... While Buakaw definitely don't care how elegant or how good his looks is to others.. he mainly train to fight... And train like crazy.. so.. wish the best for both of the fighters, and thanks for the video, Bro... definitely worth much more than coming live to the actual fight 😅😅😅😅 🙏🙏🙏🙏
In many cases, when a person gets mad and go crazy, their concentration and evasive skills get affected and there’s always a risk of them getting caught with a killer shot hence losing the match. Scary part about Buakaw is whenever he gets really angry and amps up his aggression level to the max, his defence doesn’t seem to get affected at all
Dude I love your accent, it sounds like you're singing when you talk, it's so pleasing and soothing. Where is your accent from? Great video btw, kung-fu guy was taking the piss big time.
My accent is just the emotions of me enjoying the match and having fun with the ridiculousness. Also, I had braces when I made the video, so likely I spoke like I was trying to figure out my voice again 😅 Glad you enjoyed my commentary!
The not-kungfu fighter should have been disqualified for refusing to fight. Period. If it was not for Buakaw winning over the crowd and it being in China this was a riot situation because they paid to see a fight!
First of all, so happy you watched til the end. Second of all, I think Buakaw was such a class act because if I were in the audience and this happened and Buakaw didn't perform a little at the end to acknowledge our disappointment, I probably would have been storming into the ticket office too asking for a refund like the crowd was shouting before Buakaw won over the crowd.
The Kung Fu master still cracks me up. Master of watching to many movies maybe. But anyone who is to concerned about getting hit in the face is no fighter.....Definitely no master!!!
What saddens me is that the kung fu master (who in my opinion is truly a practitioner of Chinese styles), but even just placing such kicks against a monster like Buakaw would have been a source of pride for anyone. Instead of giving his best and perhaps being defeated with honor, this ''master'' decided to leave the ring with dishonor. really very sad that the ego takes over people who have trained under styles that boast a spiritual dimension and who complain about rules while practicing a style that constantly emphasizes that there are no rules. Disgraceful.
What a sad sight to see. It reminds me of a story Ramsey Dewey told in a video about two of his matches in China. One guy he kept knocking out, but his corner kept resuscitating him to the point Ramsey gave up and gave the opponent to win. And another time he kept tapping out another guy, the guy wanted to quit but his corner forced him to keep going, until the fight was ruled a draw (I think, I don’t remember).
@@nickcarroll8565 I think they were trying to make sure both opponents would keep fighting, trying to make Dewey tired of it. This was the early days of mma in China
In Chinese politics Chinese are gonna side with their own no matter how insanely wrong they can be. Buakaw does not deserve this level of disrespect.the people may speak but the " keeping up with appearances" rhetoric will remain. Buakaw truly a speciment of showmanship. Buakaw had him shaking at his heels even before the first round was over.
People talk shlt about the kung fu master. Dude walked into the muay thai ring against an actual goat status figther. Win lose or ko. I still respect him
My guess is that the kung fu guy's strategy was to try to KO Buakaw in the first round with his huge spinning kicks, because he probably wouldn't have had a lot left in the tank after the first round. When that didn't work out and he was put on the backfoot by a now pissed Buakaw, he started grasping at straws.
Rules were not changed mid fight according to the announcement, it said "there was some misunderstanding with regarding to kneeing; one knee is okay and is agreed upon so let's cheer for the fighters to get back into fighting spirit okay?". I'm not sure why he even complained about any knees though, as knees are allowed both in Kungfu/Wushu and Sanda; but this gets into the argument of rules favor certain techniques vs others, if no rules, then you just keep kicking people in the nuts, which in a real fight, I would totally do that to win to save my life.
Bro they are Kung Fu master who lost against 1 arm boxing when the Kung Fu can use everything but the boxer only use his fist so I think it pretty find to call anyone Kung Fu master even he can't take a single knee
As an ex-pro Muay Thai fighter, the rules were ALWAYS agreed on pre-match, there was never a debate. Only once did I see a discrepancy when an opponent of one of my fighters threw an elbow which was not stipulated in pre-fight agreements. My guy waved it off, and offered to use elbows the rest of the fight... ref rightfully said no as that is not in the stipulated pre-fight contract. So there is no way this Chinese fighter and Buakaw's team did not know of the exact rules. My opinion, is that the Chinese guy tried to steamroll Buakaw, and when it didn't work, and ignoring his culpability in the low blows, he got scared when Buakaw - hard as nails - went alright, and fought back. Reminds me of a modern meme/skit; 'It was at this moment went he knew he had f**k up...' Then he did everything he could to get out of the fight and at the same time gaslight Buakaw and EVERYONE else.... the ref saw through it, the judges saw through it, Buakaw and his team saw through it, and the crowd definitely saw through it...
Пакьяо легенда, высочайший мастер выдержал несколько ударов по яйцам от испуганного кунфуиста. Кунфуист почуял свое поражение и начал симулировать. Победа Буакав однозначно.
Did they not have the striking rules in writing during negotiations? No point in arguing if its already in writing. Someone's gonna get a big lawsuit for breaching contract.
If this happened here in the States, I'd agree with your last sentence. But the whole thing happened in the People's Republic of China. Buakaw and his people wouldn't get a fair shake.
The worst changing rule mid-match was the one between so-called「玄武」vs木村翔, which led to 徐曉東跟「玄武」絕交, and many Chinese professional fighters and referees also stood for 木村翔。
I wonder how a, say, Wing Chun or other TCMA fighter would do given the same fight and circumstances? Like an actual fighter and not whatever this is. I’d love a legit TCMA v Muay Thai fight at a high level like Buakaw
The closest we have to true TCMA vs Muay Thai are Choy Li Fut vs Muay Thai matches that we covered back in the day when we found Blake Griffin. And then Qi La La Wing Chun Xingyi Liu He vs Muay Thai.
From another commentary : It wasn't the "kneeing" that was the issue rather the rules state you cannot "grab the head and pull it down and knee at the same time". In the first instance (@2:26) It seem Buakaw pulled him in a little bit. But in the second instance (@4:36) the ref is saying that Buakaow DID NOT pull him down when he kneeded him and was clearly a legal hit.
I will say, those repeated kicks to the familymakers always found their target and did not look like there was no power behind them sooo spin kick to the jewels best basis for a street fight?
Yeah, I wonder if Buakaw had a cup. I will say considering how accurate those purposeful familymaker kicks were from Kungfu master, I do want to learn them just to have in my self defense kick-arsenal.
I think the power behind the low blow was not an issue as much because Buakaw has been in wars and his cup has been tested before. Buakaw was stopping to control himself and not pin this guy to the ground and pound him into the dust after all the low blows and cheap shots. (After all China )
@@leodouskyron5671 yep. The first time we covered Buakaw on this channel, it was that time a Sanda champion low-blowed him twice. Look how Buakaw took care of him. In this farce of a match with Yanlong, Buakaw really kept his cool. Maybe he knew kungfu guy couldn't do any real hurt to a thai boxer's conditioned body.
