@@sychosaint8936 I dont think so, after all Nintendo World Cup have different races t there than the japanese version. Is more about the tipical japanese game with too much dialoge trying to be like an anime wasent much attractive to americans in the 90s
You have your politicians to blame for that. They think so little of Americans that they have to censor things or downright not allow their release because your pure little minds wouldn't takenit
Be me: Turkish kid in the 90s playing the football and basketball ones on grandma's ancient black and white TV every day after school. For years I wondered what the games were called, and finally ran into it a couple of days ago. By far my favourite pre-PC games.
Nekketsu football is the best .... I still play it on my laptop .... Love the 11 number player ... He kicks the ball making it a banana 🍌 and 80% of the time it's a confirm goal .... The only person I am afraid of is the big eyes guy from Brazil making the ball into fish
omg, I know what players you have in mind without even checking, that player from Brazil had high jump, he always was making that shot. I was also using that player with 11, but my favourite was with number 2 and 8 :)
There are people who have played River City Ransom but still never got to know about the Kunio-kun series. Actually it's a huge shame most of these games never made it to the west officially, maybe the World Classics can fix that.
you right, its shame the kunio games not go to the west, games like kunio tachi no banka (snes/sfc) is a example of the quality of this saga, the world collection is out right now in japan and hong kong with a english languague for the menus, the question is this collection coming to the west?
Nintendo World Cup was the only Kunio Kun game I played. Literally, it's even better than all of the Fifa 2k games. Although tackling your opponents in soccer is very illegal in this game, the ref isn't there to penalize you, and give you a red card.
There is a game called Nintendo World Cup which is totally based on Kunio Kun Nekketsu Soccer League (or the other way around). I am not sure if this should also be considered. Also, Crash and the Boys which is awesome. I guess that you may have missed other entries too.
Love Kunio franchise before they changed the desgin of the char but i am wondering something I there anybody who was able to play Dodge Ball without flashing sprites???? any one?
