Hi Dave, Good review of that big Barr & Stroud clone. I got the 8 x56 for about £150 after being very impressed with the smaller 8 x and 10x 42 midels but this bigyin had a tiny sweet spot in the centre snd horrible off axis aberrations. Totally unusable! Sent it back to the store for a full refund. Refused to review it! Neil
