This was a super well made and concise video! Explained the basics and gave an easy to follow gameplan for when you're in a match against different archetypes. Keep the guides coming!
Just picked up DNF Duel yesterday and when it comes to new games I can kinda tell who I'm gonna main after trying everyone at least once. I was really considering Kunoichi but then I saw this video and it completely sold me on playing her.
You really did nail this. I see a lot of video guides that literally be 3 times longer than this and they still don't explain anything as clearly and easy to understand as this. Thanks man! Keep it up
I'm getting into fighting games for the first time with DNF and this video put things in a way that I could actually understand! Most content I find is super technical and confusing witch has made it a difficult process to start learning this stuff.
That's great to hear! I try my best to straddle the line between being easily digestible but still equipping everyone with the knowledge to be successful. Welcome to fighting games!! Hope you enjoy them
I was actually looking for something to correct, but for a quick basic beginner, this is really REALLY good for beginners. Definitely pinning this in the server's Kunoichi channel, good shit dude
J2S is one of the best neutral tools in the game, incredibly disjointed, can combo, and it lingers making it safe on a lot of DP's if you use it as a meaty
@@Tismatic I have a special video I’ve been cooking up all week coming this weekend. Then maybe five more beginner guides before I can get to an advanced Kuno guide. But let’s say 🤔 Sometime in the next 3 weeks hopefully
You kicked my butt so bad I looked up a guide and found you 😂😅. I’m hoping to learn her now. Edit: i don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I dash but I can’t get Berserker after the dash.
Haha that's amazing. Yeah I'm only able to manage one video a week right now but I'm writing up guides for each character and Kuno will be the first Advanced one I get to. I'm assuming you mean after summoning the frog? It's very weird, just gotta keep trying to get used to the timing, you could be going either too fast or too slow. Try just connecting with standing S after the frog instead of dashing into down B if it's too tough still.
I'm new to fighting games and I was wondering what's the best way to learn combos? I try using practice mode but I find it hard to remember combo strings or get the timing down on certain combos.
It can be different for everyone. Most people find thinking of it in a rhythm to be easy. And that feeling of it being hard to memorize doesn’t go away even when you get good at them. But it’s mostly practice. Once your brain is drilled with a combo, you’ll be able to do it for years just off your fingers remembering the stimulus response (visuals, sounds, etc) For me, I break each section down as best as I can and repeat them until I can combine two sections at a time till I have a combo sandwich.
@@Charagodslayer666 yup, gonna do more persona stuff closer to the regalase go the Rollback Netcode patch And yeah, DnF is easy inputs. Overall easy to get into but still a deep game.
