Thank you very much Bougainville Tourism for visiting Kunua District. It is indeed the last frontier of unbroken forest from the shorelines to the mountains comprising pristine watersheds. There are more places to see including the Aiope River basin. These areas are also critical biodiversity hotspots, carbon sinks, and cultural sites worth preserving. I will let you guys know hopefully next year to film more sites in the upper montane regions of Kunua where I have been conducting my research with the local communities.
