It’s always like that, and it’s a designated 4wd water crossing. This one is relatively easy as it is paved, but there are plenty of water crossings around that have rocky bottoms. We would definitely not cross flood water! We stopped and watched many cars go over before our drive over.
Gotta love those boab trees. I remember being in Kununurra a thousand years ago and we went to a place close by called Hidden Valley, I think. Maybe that was the lookout you went to last?
Just beautiful. You’re doing really well with the videography. It was nice to see a bit of Kunnunurra . I think I mentioned my husband is heading there for work at the beginning of January for three months. Just in time for the “nice” weather! 😊
@@nigelandsueadventures yes I know. He won’t have a car either. So I can’t imagine it will be much fun. Hopefully the hospital is air conditioned. I expect it will be. He’ll just have to work more. 🤨
Well done Nigel and Sue helping that guy out of his predicament.... Very well done. I really enjoy the drone footage as I've said previously. I think it gives an amazing perspective to the landscape. Your videos are a real inspiration for me as I'm hoping to travel in my Sprinter similarly. Thanks so much... 🙂👍
Oh thanks so much for the comment Peter. Yes we always help out where we can. We’ve used our recovery gear much more for other people! But that’s cool, when we got stuck someone helped us out. We love flying the drone and agree it gives a great perspective. Sadly drones are prohibited in a lot of places, and then sometimes it’s just too windy. We have a lightweight drone which is good for some of the regulations, but not good for flying in the wind. Do you have a campervan? When do you hope to head off?
@@nigelandsueadventures I have no idea why my reply disappeared.... Very strange. In answer to your question yes I too have converted a Sprinter Van into an off-grid home on wheels. I have a similar layout to your own. I'm also a drone enthusiast. I just bought a DJI Mini 3 Pro.... Love it... Easy to fly but very hard to master that cinematic footage. On FB you will find me wearing a blue jacket standing in front of Cape Huay. Department of Justice employee.
