Shivangi's Amma is right on all things actually ! - Pazhampori is called in different names in different parts of Kerala - Pazhampori, Vazhakka Appam, Poli etc. - In South and Middle part of Kerala (mainly) sour pachadis are called Kichadi ( ones with Pavakka / Bitter guard, Ladies Finger, Beetroot etc. ones with curd and coconut added) and sweet ones are Pachadi (pineapple, jaggery, banana etc.) - Kumbazhanja is Sorakkai
Actually I asked my mom in Kerala like very interior , pachadi is clled kichadi only, what you do like adding curd, coconut nd veg you call it pachadi we call it kichadi only nd in some interior parts of Kerala pazhampoori is called poli. Mathanga is there, sorakai we calle it diff it's not called sorakai in Kerala
