While it doesn't nullify attacks specifically, Astral Kuriboh does make an Xyz Monster indestructible to battle/effects, so... maybe the idea's still there in spirit?

My favorite is Junkuriboh. I just love the idea of these guys resembling their owners like the chao from sonic. Plus, it tends to get slept on in favor of Kuribon

Despite to their cuteness... they are considered to be a life saver to the situation where you gonna lose... and this interesting part is not just only adding it by his siblings, also the counter parts of each era for each protagonist and other important characters... sych an adorable!!!!

They should make a multiply only do Kuryboh. Creates tokens on your side of the field, that your oponent must target and destroy before they can affect your other monsters, you can't use them for antiything, appear new ones for the rest of the turn this was activated, every time one leaves the field. And this guys self destruct, reducing your oponent's monster (who activated an effect or attack that affects your side of the field )attacks by 300. When it reaches 0, the monster is destroyed. An impenetrable wall of Kuriboh. Make it quick play.

@@dancorneanu9144 hey buddie... that's why they create some quick spells and quick effects to respond any of the opponent's attack and effects.. example... the Multiply let's you create more Kuriboh Tokens to make more defenders... and if u want to rid of those cards, activate Detonate to sacrifice to destroy those cards....

@@darylmendoza5650 I was thinking more contained into one. You know how people say any 3+ cards are too slow. So a new card that can act like the anime, but with effects more inline with current needs. A you can't do anyithing card with Kuriboh. Also make sure no other effects that turn.

@@dancorneanu9144 @dan corneanu maybe u right... Konami make not just only negate attacks and destruction, also create negate activation and responses just like hand traps like Ash, Imperm, Gamma and Ghost Belle.. also an activation in tge GY to more variable not depending on the hand traps...

I've always loved these little puffballs, and I'm so glad they can finally be made into their own deck. I'm especially happy the other four Kuriboh brothers are finally getting printed (and surprised that the names I called them by when I was younger (have no idea if there was an official source for the names over 15 years ago) are the actual names (Kuribah, Kuribee, Kuribeh and Kuriboo) they go by.) Also, Kirby reference with Five Star Twilight is pretty sweet, given how both are called puffballs by fans.

In the spirit of Number/Utopia getting their own Kuriboh as support, I started to think about some Kuriboh support for other archetypes, and yes, most of these are going to be puns, ahem: Invoked - Invokuriboh. Skull Servants - Skuribohne Raidraptors - Kuraider. Madolche - Kuridolche. Shaddoll - Kuridoll. Dark Magician - Darkuriboh Magician. Blue Eyes - Eyes of Kuriblue. Dogmatika - Dogmatikuriboh. Nekroz - Nekuriboh. Rokket - Kuribohrrel.

Funny how they released 3 more Kuribohs and a Kuriboh Skilled Magician shortly after the release of this video. Also the saddest part of Sebatiel is that Kuribohs DO have a fusion monster... but only in Rush Duels.

Interestingly, Sabatiel means "resting of God". Could it be referring to it's effect or to what you do after spending a lifetime creating/finding the Philosopher's Stone?

Considering that kuriboh was a fiend or demon in duel monsters by him aiding dulests he "earnd his wings" so to speak becoming a fairy or angel at least that is what I believe

Multiply and Detonate, as well as the flute and Berserker Crush should get an errata so they can be used on any Kuriboh monster.

Sad thing, is Melffy's already do that a lot better since they can spam Kalintosa and attack directly with Joyous' effect. Not to mention they all benefit from Ayer's Rock and Missus Radiant, and synergize with Alpha.

Kuribon's effect is really good with cards that punish your opponent for gaining LP, like Oberon's Trickery.

So there's a Dragon Ball character called Iwan and every time I see, which is not very often, he's only appeared in the tournament of power, anyway when I see him, I think of Kuriboh. It got to point my nickname for him is God of Destrustion Kuriboh.

I really wish Multiply worked with the other Kuriboh brothers but I guess it’d be broken if it did. Lately in Master Duel, I’ve been playing a DPE kuriboh build, I summon two linkuribohs then link them to anaconda off multiply. It’s pretty fun. I use Sabatiel as well but I prefer not to if helped.

Kuriwight. Elemental: Dark Type: Zombie Level: 1 Atk: 300 Def: 0 This card is considered a Kuribho in the GY. You may Special Summon this card from the GY when you discard one card from your hand for an effect. This is the Zombie Counterpart to Kuribho. And while not a great card in itself, it is perfect with thoes extra deck cards which need Level 1 monsters.

In regards to the Kuriboh Bros effects, they already had those on the cards in the anime (Yeah, if you watched the Japanese airings of the show you would get the card’s actual text) and if I recall correctly each of them kept their anime effect in some form, though none of them had search capabilities for things that weren’t Kuribabylon or bandit.

Kinda wish we got more kuriboh monster type variety. We already got link so why not ritual, fusion, and xyz (i don't really see synchro and pendulum). Heck some of their cards already support those mechanics ( clear, sphere and relinkuriboh, sabatiel, astral kuriboh; although this one is more of a number support unless they're gonna do a number kuriboh 😳) and for the tech i'm surprised you didn't mention any rank 1 monsters

So can we all agree that the Kuriboh multiply swarm would be SO much more horrifying/awesome if they BIT their targets instead of exploding? Like if you thought Thousand Eyes Restrict getting explosions going off in front of every single one of its eyes was bad, imagine all of its eyes getting EATEN instead XD

I’d like to point out that the 3rd effect of Kuribabylon actually isn’t a Quick Effect. Now you may be saying to yourself “but it says it can activate during the Main or Battle Phase, doesn’t that mean it has to be a Quick Effect?” And… yeah… every other case of an effect that can activate during the Main or Battle Phase is a Quick Effect, but rulings we have from the OCG show that it must be activated as CL1 which means it isn’t a Quick Effect. Basically it acts like an Ignition Effect in the Main Phase and a Phase-Based Triggered Effect in the Battle Phase. It’s… confusing, but that’s how it works.

They aren't a good deck, the support helps but they need outside boss monsters to make use of the spam they are able to do. Even with such a flaw and some having lackluster effects I love kuribohs. Also like to mention since I don't recall you mentioning it but bls is also a decent boss option with all the lights and darks.
