And is it just me? Or do these episodes have a similar vibe to Onegai My Melody. Love that anime, but it might just be me.

They ARE characters that debuted in the onegaiMelo anime, and also the anime had great reception, so they probably either brought some of the original writers back or the current writers tried to mimic the kuromi and baku in the anime (which is great, they didn’t completely change the characters)

Exactly, they’ve made her kinder, like an evil but more moderate version of my melody, like she’s still got a bit of that evil left, but not like she was in onegai my melody

I remember an episode where she asked to be turned soft-ish like my melody and have her exact personality. This kuromi is like that, but less.
