I must say I agree. I am not a true connaisseur of Kurt Cobain. Just an adept of journaling and these journals are awesome! Thank you very much for watching and commenting. ⭐
nahh, he's passed on - his art was for people, and this is included in it - I would want the same thing.... I have 5,000 pages of writing, from just the last 2.5 years.... I would hate for it to be lost - 7.5 billion people potential audience..... one person..... who might have killed me..... f&** her.... it goes to the world
His personal, private thoughts written down. From his poetry to his music, etc. I've not own any of his authentic rare stuff. Interesting things of his Nirvana. Kurt Cobain had a really comp!ex mind. I wish he was around to put out his very own book or photography art, paintings, sculptures, dolls, etc. His clothing boutique. A massive respect goes out to him as a person who the people loved. His daughter Frances Bean Cobain also is a.visual artist + Courtney Love Cobain. I like your awesome journal collection. Amazing to see more ppl Journaling. 🖤🦋🎸🤘🏼
This was so good to watch. Thank you for sharing. I recall listening to 'smells like teen spirit' when I was 12. Anyway, the journal was inspirational to see... so unaltered and raw.
I’ve been a fan of Nirvana since age 8-now I’m 41. To me Kurt was a dear friend who you knew but never met. Through his music and funny antics, he helped societies ostracized by figuratively saying, “I can’t solve your problems but I understand them; I understand you. My music is my way of saying I’m here for you. Please realize you aren’t alone.” Even today life continues being a cluster fuck: angst, broken relationships, disappointments-I really wish I was dead. Sadly I’ll never do this because I was raised Catholic. But more than that, at least I can say I’ve had artistic success. And it’s people like Kurt Cobain; his music, who he was, who he could’ve been, the corpus of treasures he might have left behind on purpose for us to search for-I can hear him now saying, “what kid doesn’t enjoy a good treasure hunt?” As we age some things change, but the positive effect Kurt’s life had on me remains the same-even 30 years and days later. Thank you for giving us a sneak preview of Kurt’s journals. When I earn enough free spending money this book will be on my top buy list.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting. It touches me very deeply because usually I receive bad comments for thIs Kurt Cobain journals video. I am 41 just like you. I wish you well, take care.
I wouldn't mind finding some of these and learn about this man cause i never heard of him so I would love to own this so I could learn about him! Loved the video! It's so cool u own something like this!😍🤗
Hey!!! Thanks for this video. I didn't know there was this book. You are right.. he was an artist. He did not like corporate or commercial culture at all. Unfortunately like many of us he was a contraction. He both did and did not want to be a famous rock musician. He got what he wanted and what he didn't want all at the same time in a very extreme way with the whole world watching. Not easy for a complex man with a difficult marriage and a drug problem. There is a bit on one of these pages where he writes "I would only wear a tie dye t-shirt if it was made with the urine of Phil Collins and the blood of Jerry Garcia" He was pretty funny too!
Thank you for sharing! I had never seen this edition of his journals. My book has the original page printed on the left side and a german translation on the other side. I will show it to you when I get it up from the basement. :D
7:50 NO! No one else is writing there! He just used a thicker pen! A felt pen while most of the journals is Ball Point pen! It is literally the same handwriting!
Is this all of his journals? How many pages are there? I'm confused which one to get because it looks like on Amazon they don't all have the same amount of pages.
The Reason Kurt had such a Troubled Mind is Because The Borogoves Drilled into his Brain and set up Colonies there! They were all Mymsey about it, too!
Yes it is a cool french book called "Kurt Cobain: Une vie à vif". By Charles R. Cross In english it is called " Kurt Cobain Unseen" It has a lot of fun inserts and reproductions of rare documents. I checked and you can still find some used copies on Amazon. Thank you very much for watching 🖤
It's a JOURNAL, NOT a DIARY! There is a DIFFERENCE! a Dairy means you specifically write in a journal about your day to day, which he didn't do! This is why people get confused when he said in an interview that he never kept a DIARY, because he DIDN'T! A DIARY is a SPECIFIC type of Journal!
Yea I was SOOOOO ENRAGED I spent that much money on that CRAP 💩 journal ….what TF….my damn 13yr old self had a more fascinating creative journal…..it was LAME. I’m 52 so I’m not some 15yr old fan or something. Felt so ….catfished. Or something. I couldn’t see what was all in it before buying at the time.
