Knowing Bronson's history and personality, that is a very touching story. I would imagine that it was probably quite difficult for him to express his appreciation to a young kid, but he clearly was moved by the simple gesture. He was a principled man.

I seen kurt Russell at Disneyland once, when I first saw him from a distance he looked like an uncle of mine and I thought it was my uncle, but as soon as he was getting closer, I heard his voice. It was him, I was star struck but didn't have the courage or didn't want to bother him, so as he passed I said best actor, best actor, I didn't even turn when he said thanks Alot man. Coolest day at Disneyland, it was right by the entrance to the jungle cruise

@anders damin yeah from working in the past security on different sets, I learned celebrities before they were famous were just like us, the average person in society, whether it be at a store,pumping gas whatever they're doing, they just miss being able to live their lives without being stopped everywhere they go, bad enough they got to deal with paparazzi.

Kimmel is a poor interviewer. Repeatedly, as Kurt Russell is about to say something important about Charles Bronson, Kimmel interrupts with some meaningless comment, derailing the effect of Russels story. To be a good interviewer you have to listen, and SHUT UP at the right time.

The interview is about charles bronson but honestly I would LOVE to hear all the stories Kurt Russell has to tell. He worked with Elvis on his first movie and has played everything from Snake Plitzken to Captain Ron to Jack Burton. The guy is a legend in my opinion. I honestly think he would just be cool to hang out with. Seems like a genuinely nice guy. Not to mention probably the best head of hair in hollywood.

He met Goldie Hawn when he was 16. He started in the business really young, and is such a great guy was able to beat all odds and stay relevant throughout the years. It's crazy because he doesn't have any stories about him in the media. He's just a genuinely good guy. ❤ him!

That is a great story, I did not realize Kurt started acting so young ( Boy is he great now!) And I’ve always loved Charles Bronson who seemed to always play tough guys, but in reading his personal history he did not have to do a lot of acting in that area. He was a legitimate tough guy with muscles that did not come from the gym but real hard work, boy I love any movie either of these guys star in! I think they are both tops!

My Mother worked at the Hamburger Hamlet in Westwood in 1957/58,she was a waitress,served a lot of Entertainment people,rarely spoke with any of them. Charles Bronson came from Pennsylvania,my Mother was from Pittsburgh, she spoke with him about their PA roots, mentioned his tv show Man with a Camera and his comedic role in a Spencer Tracy, Katherine Hepburn movie. I can see how Kurt and Charles could be buds,can also see Charles going into the office and ' talking ' to the MGM person.

Charles Bronson grew up in my area. I worked with a guy who knew his family. He said he used to be at the local swimming hole flexing his muscles as a teenager. He knew him by his real name. Charlie Buchsinky..i might have spelled it wrong.

Charles Bronson was in "The Magnificent Seven" in 1960 and "The Great Escape" in 1963. He was already a star in 1964 with several television appearances and a few series. I wanted to watch "The Travels of Jaime McPheeters" but couldn't find it on television. I would like to find the complete series now, but have only been able to find "Guns of Diablo" which is a movie made from a couple of episodes. It had two of my favorite actors, Charles Bronson and Kurt Russell. 😊

The part that's going over many peoples heads here (yes the charles bronson part is sad and cool and great ending) but the fact that kurt was 12 yrs old went out on his own and got a guy he probably hardly knew AND spent a good deal of his money on for his birthday as a kid, great character shown there and see what the karma brought him :)

My favorite Charles Bronson movie was Hard Times. Many folks surprisingly have never heard of it. If you’re u are a Charles Bronson fan, I urge you to look for it. A similar movie from Kurt Russell was Soldier. In both movies, they hardly speak and are total bad asses. Shows that acting is more than reciting lines.

Soldier was the movie that Kurt said that he finally realised he was too old to be an action hero, as he broke three bones in his right foot and broke his left ankle during the first week of filming. And yes Hard Times is great, Bronson was I think 53 at the time, but built like a tank.

Kurt Russell played a kid in one of Charles Bronson's early Western movies!....Kurt must have been about 10 at the time. ..I'm pretty sure that the movie was in '59
