On the other hand, Aqua acknowledges that Apex is a team game, and that she's not playing the game the way it's supposed to be played because she's poor at socializing. The people who can assemble working 3-man teams and rank together are the truly amazing ones to her eyes. It's a bittersweet dichotomy.
Yes, but what people don't understand is that there are other ways to communicate and Aqua has been using them. It plays a part in why she got to master solo. And as a matter of fact, she can communicate just fine. She makes call outs as well as any other apex streamer.
@@RecordToDeathToBoredom just that when its tourney like v-saikyou and everyone is experienced in teamwork, she will be lacking in some aspect. That said, she is definitely right up there at the top with some others in terms of personal skill
@@shiinauiAqua learned from her first failed experience. Solo master is a mental game. Unlike full stack, there are a lot of uncontrollable variables in doing solo. So even when bad games happen, it's better to not blame anyone, keep calm, reset and go for next. And when you feel your mental goes down, better to just take a break then forcing it. In this solo master, there were some streams where it was really bad for Aqua, that she was getting losing streak (her Plat I to Dia IV stream and her Dia I to Master on the last day). On her Plat I one, iirc she cut her stream short because she wasn't feeling well as well. On her last day, she took a 1 hour short break (for Kaela 3d) and that short reset really helped her a lot.
It's crazy since there's still pro players that are still in Diamond playing since the start of the season solo queueing. This season is a hard climb for everyone soloing.
Definitely the hardest season to climb solo especially in higher rank lobbies that these players, and Aqua are playing in. Everyone in these lobbies are either duo or 3-stack most of the time. Would love to see Noa, or any of the VSPO girls reach out to her for a casual Apex session/collab one day. Especially since Aqua's had a huge character development arc this year.
Seems like most of the chat doesn't know, but this season's rank matchmaking is skill based MMR for all ranks. So if ur a former master/pred player, then all your ranked lobbies from bronze till master are filled with the same players who are just as skilled as you are (ex master/pred players). This is why this season feels so hard, cause you don't play against lower skilled players at any rank, even at bronze.
Still hope we get to see Aqua collab with the vspo girls someday. Noah did say before she would love to and her style leans towards aggresive play, would be beautiful seeing them run and gunning players out here. Meanwhile Aqua could make her next goal is to increase her circle of friends lol. Towa could be the bridge for all this fr
During Aqua's early solo master sessions, there were a few times when Noah was also streaming Apex. I was low-key hoping they would accidentally end up in a team together, but alas it didn't happen.
@@903IDFOLEYduring Aqua's last day of Solo Master, she streamed at the same time as Virtual Gorilla. They're both D1 trying to reach Master solo and probably on similar mmr, too bad they don't get blessed by the matchmaking RNG (probably not even in the same lobby since they always start and finish at different times).
This is just a side story during her final push. She comeback after Kaela 3D live break with a few Red Bull. She then proceed to absolutely stomp the lobby ganing 600 LP in last 3 matches (1st 2nd 1st) while struggle for 8h before to even stay in D1. If this is not the opportunity for RedBull to promote and give the Onion the wings, I don't know what is.
Sure hope this gives Aqutan enough confidence boost to try playing with others outside Hololive, preferrably starting with VSPO! since they're all girls which I assume she'd be more comfortable with initially.
From surfing ytube clips and streams, there's 2 streamer/vtuber who's already succeeded in reaching Master rank. it's : Minato Aqua and Riy channel. Riy was one of many streamer who's match in the same team with Aqua, but sadly they got wiped out. Riy got Master rank one day after Aqua reached Master. glad to see they reached Master through the brutal/most difficult Apex's ranked battle of these season.
Is that the same guy who killed Aqua with a Kraber in the next game? I remember him posting a clip on it or is it a diffefent guy?. Also Virtual Gorilla reached masters too tho not fully Solo but he did reached it solo while on Diamond 1
@@prajnadeva yeah he played against Aqua afterwards and wiping her team. It was when Aqua was using a Rampart with sentinel and Aqua was targeting Riy's bangalore ally until she got downed by Riy's Kraber headshot easily wiping them out he clip it himself on his channel.
the different between Aqua and other streamers when playing solo is that Aqua can force her team to follow her, she's always leading the team, that's why even playing solo she can makes it like full party without comm
Most of the time she did lead the team with her ping, but sometimes she followed other lead as well. Just depends if the other players would use ping or not, otherwise Aqua would do it.
@@gonoki888 yes once twice in a game when she has to loot, her teams have already moving before she realize it, but very mostly she uses ping or just start moving first
It's actually a pain to play solo when no one is leading atleast with ping on where to go in this game. Don't you hate it when everyone on your team is clueless on where to go so you'll be force to lead the team even if you are not good at it.
Changing to Loba helps as well as she can easily prevent her teammates from moving away with her ULT as they tend to group up whenever Loba's ULT is released.
that's a lot of praise coming from Kurumi Noah who is a monster in her own right. also are they aware yet that Aqua has already achieved Solo Master for this season?
Masanori and Shibuya hal are also monsters on their own right and even they are acknowledging aqua. This solo master run aqua didn't just get to master solo, she made a statement.
And its not like she is playing with scrubs either, in one of her matches she was queued with a 3 stack pred team. Which means her hidden mmr is quite high.
It is true though. Aqua got matched with a guy named UASOBI multiple times though I think it was because he was also stream sniping. That said, almost everyone, even the Preds she encountered were 3 stacked teams with full comms. If she had played the game the way it was intended with an actual competent team she could reach Predator.
Stream sniping is fine (so that you can play in the same lobby), as long as it's not ghosting. Like watching her stream while playing and aiming for her only. Trying to give her free point is also as bad. For pred, even with full stack, you still need to sacrifice all of your time for Apex only. You know it's not something hololive talent can and will do. They are not Apex streamer after all. Iirc, Pred now is around 70k LP or maybe more now.
Not to belittle her past soloMas series but climbing this season is extra hard. Like I was only casually playing ranked Apex last season and manage to rank Platinum as a solo comapred to this season, I just placed at Silver and am already facing some challenging enemies.
- Aqua fighting ability is strong and very effective, but lack the teamwork sense, now she slowly fixing it by stay with her team so they can help her and ping enemy and not pushing carelessly. It like a tank get support by infantry (dont if it the right comparasion) - other i watched, they have very good teamwork but lack the fighting ability compare to aqua. Most of the time, if 1 get knocked, it become 2v3 and they get squad wipes, but aqua can fence for herself.
