Um the sounds are fantastic but im a but concerned about the user interface. Only 6 quick access buttons? Currently i use a korg triton which ive had since 2001. This allows me to assign 20 sounds to the touch screen so switching between them all is so easy. Considering how old it is now this is slightly disconcerting. Anyway for example llets say i have this setup with the 6 favourites buttons... Brass Strings Organ Punchy Synth Slow Pad Lead Synth And want to use a flute or oboe for something? Will this involve pressing menu buttons repeatedly to replace one of the sounds then having to do the same to put it back in? Also if i press two (or 3 or 4) of the faves buttons together will it layer the sounds?

One simple question: does it have USB Audio Recorder function? This function for me the most important, and first of all I'm always checking presence of this function. If digital piano doesn't have one, I say good-bye to this instrument without any doubts. I know Kurzweil Forte doesn't have this feature. So, I don't except it. Most competitors have USB Audio Recorder feature: Roland RD800, KAWAI MP11/MP7 (my choice), some YAMAHAs, CASIO PX-5S, PX-350 etc. So for me Kurzweil is outsider in this question.

Unfortunately it hasn't. But in my opinion, you can simply buy an audio recording interface or PC's audio card. Both cost up to 50€. Bigger problem is if you want to record life performances.

Thank you for your response! Why USB Audio Recorder feature is so important to me, because I don't have enough knowledge when it comes to musical technologies based on computers (I've never even used DAW etc.), audio interfaces, connections etc. I try to read about this, but still hard for my understanding, and I still have line of questions. For example, try to read from here: pianoworld.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/2394707/Re:_External_Sound_Card.html#Post2394707 As you see for me this is a problem. That's why I'm very appreciated, when digital piano can do main things without of necessity to use a computer and additional stuff. Nevertheless, despite this problem, I still continue to take an interest in these issues. I also know about some kind of recording stuff, like Zoom H4n. And few times in various videos I asked this person from Poland what is the name of device he always using to record his demos. watch?v=hbN009a5jP0 But he never, never respond. By the way the same people from this channel. I've asked so many times what is the name of the piece Noemi playing on demos, but never get a response. Not very kind from their side. And both channels are from Poland. I hope not all people from Poland so "responsive".

***** hi, it's easier than you think mate. if you have an iphone or ipad, you can get some great affordable class compliant interface and record easily that way in a (relatively) portable package

For example? I don't have now Apple devices, but maybe I'll get iPad. And what next should I do?

***** next you should buy an audio interface like a steinberg UR242 or focusrite itrack dock or presonus itwo. connect your iphone or ipad to these and your keyboard trs main outputs to the line inputs in these devices. and then you can record with the apps provided.

Worst keyboard I ever owned. I bought this sight unseen a couple of weeks ago, had it shipped to me, and within 10 minutes of playing it I realized I made a BAD mistake. The key bed is HORRIBLE: it clicks and clacks like a cheap old player piano. And it's got less factory setups and multis and sliders than its cousin, the Artis 7 and the full Artis. I repacked this and sent it back to my supplier, opting instead for the Artis 7, which I had intended to purchase originally (but was out of stock at the time I contacted my supplier). Don't waste your money on this keyboard. Get the Artis 7 for a few dollars more--you'll be glad you did.
