'Kusahos' An Ilonggo Way of Preserving Meat or Tapa!

I remember back then, after fiesta in Bohol, my late brother, used to make kusahos.

Kusahos. All time favorite. Balon sa bukid magtaklad kay very handy and easy to cook. 😊

All your food looks yummy. Wish I'm your neighbor. Carabao meat, I'm craving for. I remember my father used to just cooked over the burning charcoal. The flavor, I can still remember how good the flavor of that meat. I missed all those foods. When I watched your vlog on cooking it just a reminiscence of me growing up in the Province. Those were the good days.

reminiscing the old day's I remember my tatay noong bata pa kmi yan palagi ginagawa nya sa mga karne nya na pinalitan ng palay pra tumagal actually sobrang tagal n hindi ako nk tikim since namatay father ko marunong nmn ako gumawa pero ayaw ng mga kapatid ko mabango nga sya dhay. thanks for showing to them our delicacy as an ilongga /ilonggo.

Napakagandang tignan pag ang pamilya ay sama sama sa hapag kainan. We grew up with the same tradition when we were in Manila, My Mom, Papa , Lola and all of us children (8 girls in the family, no boys.) Now that we are all in Canada & USA, due to each has his own time. such scenario happens kapag nagsasama sama kami sa isang home sweet home ng isang sister kung may get together or spur of the moment na lang.

i used to make kusahos when i was around 8yrs old with my grandma, tapos lagay lang sa may rooftop bantayan na walang langaw & cat... 😋😋😋

Remember backhome during my college day gumagawa kami nyan baon ko for whole week minsan pinagpalit ko sa sardinas or noodles sa mga ka boardmate ko we called that in ilongo Beef tapa ❤
