Since Alex Shelley as well as Chris Sabin have departed TNA Wrestling, I'd really like to see Kushida be elevated and fill that void. If Scott D'More was still here, Kushida would eventually become a TNA World Champion!

Meh. I know they wanted to push Maclin to the moon but I still think it's absurd that they didn't put the title on KUSHIDA at Rebellion. The moment was perfect and it would have elevated the title.

I gotta say, I’m loving this Jonathan Gresham “evil squid ink that spreads like a disease” angle! Really fun and intriguing twist on the evil mist type stuff. And Kushida should be a champion ASAP!!

American wrestling is more about show and character. In Japan they focus more on the in-ring work.

@@ryandavis4448 Still, would it hurt to change every now and then? I've seen many of his matches in njpw and he occasionally wears something different once or twice and only changes up in tag matches that he used to have with Alex Shelley.

Oh. Interesting, so Gresham's ink has affected Kushida. I don't think the latter will turn, but at the same time i do feel like he'll be the first feud rival to fall to the Masked Octopus.
