Welcome to Bali! On this episode we visit the first ever (and very lively) backpacker and tourist area of Kuta, then the coastal resort of Sanur to see what they are both like. The two resorts are VERY different, but which will we prefer?
We explore the local Indonesian food on offer such as Nasi Goreng, Satay and Mie Goreng in some of the Warung's and as always show you prices so you know how much to expect to pay if you visit.

Great video....i have been over a dozen times...just say Jalan Jalan....it means just walking......the locals love it when you say that.....makes you sound experienced!!!!...and I love how polite you are to the hawkers.....that's all you have to be....

Hi guys great clip Sadly this time of year yes the beautiful beaches get this plastic and colour this time of year especially Kuta side of beaches 6 months ago pristine and blue I No the warungs you went to and the people that run them Sadly since covid the Kuta area you were in has collapsed and not really rebounded at all, once the main hustle and bustle Sanur one of my favourite areas, Looking forward to your Phillipines trip

Hey Frankie! There was 1 man trying to clean the beach up but sadly he was fighting a losing battle. We absolutely love Bali for the food! We went to a few more warungs but sadly can't show all of them so we thought we would pick the ones that stood out to us. Heya..we re in Kuta now or as we call it Skegness with driftwood lol..luckily have 6 wks here so 2 Sanur later in week...loving the amazing prices tho!

Hold onto your hats in Kuta you party animals! Apparently I'm known as the guy who likes chillies at Warung Norman so I've left a lasting mark with the owner. There's so much to see in Bali and we rank it the 2nd best place for food we've ever been to. Ubud is beautiful, Uluwatu is apparently nice too. If you get time then check out the Gili Islands as they are apparently amazing. You can do Nusa Penida from Sanur too. If you go to Warung Anna's then tell her we said Hi and that we really miss the spicy chicken. Genuinely the tastiest dish we've eaten on our travels. Have a blast! 🇮🇩

Hi guys, how are you? The room looked ok, reminded me of a travelodge room and ok at £15. Bless the little lady where you got your clothes, I can’t be doing with so much hard sell, the worst place we had for that was Kusadasi in Turkey, which unfortunately put us off going back to Turkey at all😢 It’s a shame the locals don’t get a few bin bags and clean up that beach, very sad! Beer prices are reasonable and that 2nd beach is stunning 🤩 The traditional food looks amazing 😊❤😊

Hey Kezza! We're ok thanks. Back in Manila now getting ready to fly to Tokyo very late tonight. The first room was ok apart from the huge rat that lived above us and we were glad to leave. Abian Harmony was much better. Unfortunately like anywhere in SE Asia once they see the colour of your skin the price inflates massively. It's been no different in the Philippines, especially with trikes. I must admit I don't like the bazaar in Kusadasi, it's catered towards the cruise passengers who are only there for the day and they will often swap the sizes of clothes. I remember getting 10 packs of boxers and they were all mixed sizes ..more fool me for not checking. We really don't know where all this rubbish is coming from but they are fighting a losing battle trying to clear it up. Sanur beach is much nicer in comparison and the sea much calmer...we went in and the water temperature was like a bath! As for the food? Bali definitely wins! Take care love x

Hey Haslin. We are really behind with the vlogs, and infact we have had nearly a month in the Philippines and have just arrived back in Manila ready to fly to Japan tomorrow. Bali was incredible for the food and you won't struggle to find anything veggie. Nasi Goreng and Mie Goreng comes with chicken or shrimp, but if you want strict veggie then they can do that also I'm sure.
