That is an nice explanation , to make it no calculator simple, instead of multiplying 36 times 64 just square root each individually and get 6 times 8 equals 48

Hi, I am having a hard time labeling each triangles to which side it corresponds to the other, can you help me how to do it?

Hello! Sometimes it might be helpful to just redraw the triangles so that they have same orientation. Visually that would make these problems less confusing. Just don't forget to relabel the given information.

You would still set up proportions in a similar manner, but may need to include the variable in multiple places. For example, in number 1, if the x and 36 were switched, then our proportion would be 36/x = (100-x)/36
