+1 He has all you say! I get the impression he's lived in many different States around the US. He recognizes each 'burg's idiosyncrasies and foibles while making them part of his oeuvre. That's a positively rare trait anymore. And he has a sense of humor that slays!
@@hugh-jasole dr octagon is not superior in my opinion. I agree on black Elvis, but this album is kinda a continuation of a song on black Elvis, clifton
No One compliments Kool Keith like Motion Man and vice versa! KutMaster Kurt makes the Preemo soundin' Beats on this whole album! This album is SUper Classic!!!!
J'ai écouté ce beat avec Chino XL dessus Waaaaaaaw !!! Kutmasta kurt nous envoie dans une autre dimension avec ce son !!! Kool keith et Motion Man !!! Ces cuts de ouf !!!
Yeah essentially, don’t know how else to put it. I’m an old ass man @37 and I’ve come to the realization that certain loops I’ve grazed by(live or recorded) will never heard again. Grav - c’mon & like some 90s Saukrates give me these vibes as I’m reflecting. Don’t stop stop digging though, that shit it fun!
@KeysdaGod I think this was one of my 20 all time favorites Hip Hop Albums. Gotta say his production is equal to or better than Primo on "Masters". Not one weak song on the entire album.
Underground almost always reaches heights of quality, but this is at it's pinnacle. Remixed this in soundforge back in the day heh. Add 5 quick progression beats from the track's basic bass beat at the very beginning, 4 slightly phased to them at the end, and this alone makes the song even more head bop friendly.
I have the first Doom and it's alright. Never heard of the other two I'll look them up, thanks. Masters of Illusion could be his best album, along with dr. Octagon. I like the old Ultramagnetic stuff a lot too. I guess he has phases like a lot of artists.
