Every Saturday night, 1-2 a.m. on 98.9fm, KUTX Soundfounder plays electronic and beat music from Austin and around the world, focusing on new releases and old classics.
For his 1year anniversary episode on September 5th, 2020 Soundfounder host Andrew Brown sat down on Zoom with Amon Tobin.
Tobin has built a global fanbase over the last 25 years with his extensive catalogue of unique electronic music. Since the mid 90s he has released many projects under a slew of different aliases in addition to composing music for films and video games. He has released 6 new albums since the beginning of 2019 alone and has recently started his own label called Nomark. In August of 2020, he sat down with Soundfounder to discuss his unique and busy career.
