Today's trip is in Kvinesdal, Vest-Agder. We drive our van to Knaben where there's are all sorts of cows, sheep, birds, as well as rivers, lakes, dams and fields. Southern Norway is amazing, I hope you enjoy the trip.

THE KNABEN MINES
Molybdenum was extracted from the mines of Knaben.
The first molybdenum mine in Knaben was opened in 1885.
The last working day was April 30, 1973,
the Knaben mines were then Western Europe's largest molybdenum sulphide mine.
Knaben mines' greatest success was during times of
conflict in the world such as war,
since molybdenum is highly requested when making weapons.
The plant was opened for mining again in autumn 2007.
The prices of molybdenum are currently low, and therefore only micro-mining.
Today Knaben is a very popular travel destination in Norway
with guide services, camps and more.
