Kwaku is speaking with the intent of not going outside of what he believes. I am a Christian but Ghanaians and many people have left the truth of God. Many things we do in the church is 90% culture and 10% scripture. I don’t agree with everything avraham says but some logics I totally agree with when it comes to us Christian living what we believe in. If we believe in scripture then we have to live accordingly.
@Kwame Boateng, your comment is one of the most honest I have seen from a Ghanaian christian online in a while... I am also a christian and I totally agree with you. Most of the things we do as christians in Ghana (or Africa for that matter) are based on culture. We profess to be followers of the Bible and yet somehow manage to base our teachings and lifestyle more on culture than the Book. It's interesting that christianity in Ghana (or Africa) is different from christianity in a place like Europe even though the manual for both are the same...lol
