This is a beautiful example of how to reach young people, or for that matter anyone, with the power of storytelling, listening, and response. To me, this also powerfully utilizes ‘call and response,’ that age old vocalized/drummified 🥁, form of communication that resonates down to our roots! Thank you TJL and Mr. Scruggs.

❤ Here is an idea for Kwame- What about contacting Sounds True to record Kwame reciting myths and playing his drum? See if you can speak with Tammy directly for an interview! (Tammy does the interviews and introductions on all of the Sounds True audios) Maybe there would be a way for Kwame to incorporate this into his fundraising….?😮
