Thank you for sharing such a beautiful ceremony. I am African American and have recently learned that this is an ancient Israelite tradition spoken of in the bible. I am thrilled to see my brothers and sisters on the continent still doing it. When Jesus (Yashua) comes for His bride (the 12 tribes of Israel) He will perform the Knocking Ceremony. Revelation 3:20 KJV Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
