Whenever I listen to "Kwilamba Ekwesu" music, I get reminded of my former workmates, John Jairos Nyangu Phiri, Frank Kolala Chipulu, Emmanuel Mwaba, late Matthew Kachali (MHSRIEP), late John Nkhoma (MHSRIEP), Ronnie Romero and Orlie Bermudez ( both from the Philippines 🇵🇭) and many more in the Geological Drawing Office (Room 10) at the then Central Offices of the Nkana Division of former Z.C.C.M. Ltd. Ooh!! What a great time we had together ❤. I really miss you gentlemen. May The Almighty God be with you and bless you all wherever you may be by now. Thank you.

I was doing standard 5 at Ngweze primary at Katima Mulilo and I used to dance to this song over weekends especially when I visited my auntie at Lisikili. The likes of Vincent Mushitu and Sabino Solo entertained us during weekends at the town. The Zambians music taught us how to us how to shack our waists, steps and movement in original rumba dance.

I once mentioned that Lamba is so similar to Bemba especially that Bembas and Lambas all came from the Luba-Lunda Kingdom of present day Congo DRC. I was insulted by most Lambas and I didn't understand why... Later came to realize that they feel the Bembas took over Copperbelt from them and imposed the Bemba language. Mine was a very honest observation based on what I understand from Lamba. This song is just an example. I understand everything from this song but I am Bemba
