I like the fact that you first talk about forgetting before you get into discussing memory. It's one of those things that is seldom talked about. I often discuss what I call "The 3 Causes Of 'Forget-ory." You've got some really catchy quotes here too. I especially liked "Learning is not a spectator sport."

It's so awesome technique Mr. Jim. 1 =always try to learn new thing and forget or avoid current thing those you already know 2 = try to always keep active your mind because active mind is always create new thing 3= when you will learn any thing by emotion so you will keep it for long time 4 = last thing teaching and it's most important thing for increase your skill and mind power because when you teach to any body so that time your mind is do his work double for impression. And this is all logic that is very helpful for everyone.

Jim, this most certainly is your superpower! I also had a head injury at 5 when i fell into an oil grease pit. All my life i have struggle and my life totally became what i believed it would so i know if it can work that way, i can change it just like you did by changing my beliefs. In Junior High i was super bullied and my nick name became DOLT. I completely became to believe what they told me about myself. I also felt like i had a very broken brain and yet my sister was genius book smart. Anyway, that was then and this is now. I can't wait to go thru each and every episode you have provided!!! You are my hero.....i just couldn't thank you enough!!

I asked on of the most dilligent student for her study, "how can you study for such long periode everyday?". She answered me, "i always look for part of the subject that i like, if i don't find it, i can't study for long periode". It is the power of perspective and your subjectiveness of something.

FAST + FORGET: Temporarily forget what you already know about the subject. Forget about the situational things which are not urgent and important. Forget about your limitations. + ACTIVE: You have to roll up your sleeves, you have to get involved. You don't learn based on consumption, you learn based on creation, co-creation. + STATE: All learning is state-dependent. Get into the state of learning: a state of joy, a state of curiosity, a state of fascination. "Sell your cleverness to buy bewilderment" + TEACHING: Learning as if you're gonna teach to someone else. When you teach, you get to learn it twice. >>> All of these things are my biggest takeaway from this episode. Thank you so much for your sharing! I'm so blessing to stumble upon this.

I love it! I'm so glad your information came into my life at this moment. I'm a high school teacher and I'm putting totally redoing how I've been teaching. I'll be using more of your technique. When I started teaching 17 years ago I said we're in the Nintendo age so instead of traditional teaching we have to be exciting to get our students attention then we have to change their "STATE" to be excited to create. Sorry for the long post but I'm truly excited about this.

) 3. State = emotion (기분. 4. Teach ! 배울 내용을 다른 사람에게 가르친다고 생각하면서 배우자! 내가 누군가에게 가르치면, 나는 그것을 두 번 배우게 되는 것이다.

HI jim kwik. I love your work, Ive been searching for ways, how to improve my spelling, reading, and speaking .(please i know you hear this from millions of people, just want 5 seconds of your time to hear me)😉Im from a small country Samoa, so English is my second language and its hard. im 28 years old. I grew up in samoa until i was 17 then move to Australia for about 10years now. Just had a breakthrough about self awareness. Im slowly working on area that im not so good at yet. I want to learn more but, my what i so call limitation about my self i slowing me down. I understand that it have alot to do with my abusive background and im stepping out of that to better myself.its a long story. but im awake now and i want to learn. I finished my first book that i understand was poor dad rich dad,. Im starting to learn about money history property market, investment. I enjoy reading it. So my reading i improving but my spelling and writing feels like its not improving at all. I always wanted to know how to read senses primery school because of my learning disability (a.d.d,and dyslexia)i was labeled as a dumb kid so i live life as a dumb kid. Start following the wrong people try to find were i can fit in and that make me fall deeper inside a reality that i believe was my reality. I took alot of mini step to get me here and i realized there are more puzzle to solve. And i want to solve my spelling and writing and maths puzzles. I have long term goals and the heart for it, is my mum and my family and make a different in the world. Especially the small island like mine fiji tonga, new zealand etc(my world). We always get left behind from the rest of the world. Especially schooling systems i believe your method can help any language. If i learn what i want to understand im my own language ill probably learn faster lol. But i hope you can here me. I understand you are a busy man. I cant wait to see what you see, in your book. Can you use easy simple words in your book please hahaha. Just joking. Again love your work and thank you for taking the time to make these video to help people like me.. (this is the longest text i wrote so far hahaha)

Kwik Brain podcast titled "FAST," the following strategies: FORGET: - Put aside what you already know to open your mind to new information. - Multitasking should be avoided, and focus should be directed towards one task at a time. - Prioritize important and urgent matters, forgetting what's not essential. - Let go of limitations and fixed beliefs about your learning abilities. ACTIVE: - Actively engage in the learning process by taking notes and creating instead of passively consuming information. - Asking questions helps to deepen understanding and retention. STATE: - Emotions play a role in memory formation, so approach learning with a state of curiosity, joy, and fascination. - Take responsibility for your state and strive to feel interested and energized. - Recognize the benefits that applying the information will bring. TEACH: - Approach learning as if you were going to teach or present the information to others. - Teaching helps reinforce your own understanding and retention of the material. Thank you,.

Hi Jim! When I listened to your story (another youtube video), I was so curious to know your background because I assess children's special education eligibilities. I made extra, extra, extra effort to get grades that less than native speakers get. 😢 I want to learn how your methods can help children in special education classes (maybe your sister knows!) and I also want to learn how kwikly complete my cases! 👍👍

I've not learned English language at all, because I live in Ukraine and I know only Russian and Ukrainian. My speaking and listening skills aren't well-developed now. I go to the language courses. And according to my sertificate I wield the A2 level of awareness in English language. But I have the impression as if because of my low level of speaking and listening, I don't wield this level. I can only write successfully. And I'm anxious because of that sometimes. But near the half or maybe more of this video is understandable for me. That's some wonder. There are not a lot of videos in RU-vid I can understand perfectly. The most terrifying for me is the other clients of those courses are older than me and they know various topics better than me. My age is only 18. I can look at the new word more than 5 or more times and not always I am capable to remember that. That's a disaster. For example, I have watched the video where the person spoke about different compound words of German language on English, instead of the German words as the examples, of course. I could not understand all information fully. Recently I've become obligated to watch the video about love in Victorian era. That was the hardest task. To make a long story short I don't know how and what to learn. What videos should I watch to begin succeded tuition?

fast 1 ::: forget (what you know about the subject - distruction - limitations ) active (our mind learns through creation not consumption ) state (all learning is a astate dependent ) teach (teaching something means learning it twice ) fast 2 ::: facebook group act (knowledge becomes power with using ) subscribe ( podcasts and episodes ) teach (share that knowledge with others )

Formula: "How to Learn Anything Faster" FAST:- F = forget all you already know about the subject . A = Active you should active mind while learning And should take a note And Ask questions . S = State (you should have present in a curiosity mode means that you have to be crazy to learn at that time ) T = Teach means when you teach something to others you get to learn it twice) Be FAST.

when u say something connected to the emotions becomes the long term memory. Now I am giving a competitive exam and this is my 7th attempt, in my last 2 attempts I had a very unpleasant thing going on with my life and now when i sit to study I tend to subconsciously recall those events bcos i was going through that stuff when I was trying to study. Now when i open my book and sit i just cannot help myself from remembering those things and i cannot focus the whole experience becomes unpleasant. Please help me i m in desperate need. If i dont get this degree I would be working for very less money and life is hard it is for me as i am a very slpw learner i understand what u say but i cannot implement it

F=forget (Forget what you already know, what is going on in your life right now, your limits) A=Active (Ask questions, talk about it...) S=State (Happy, sad... T=Teach (You take better notes, learn it twice)

#jimkwik #DanicaMcKellar @jimkwik The most important thing for me is that you said my fear and or dislike for math is learned. That was a huge ah ha moment for me and the irony is that when I was growing up in Chicago I love school and learning and math. But when my parents died and I went to live with my grandmother in Wisconsin everything switched. I hated school and everything about it. The other thing is my hate didn’t happen over night so my learning and getting comfortable with it won’t either. Also you’re both right that because my lack of comfort with math and my bank account, credit etc show it.

Jim, saw your interview with Tom Bilyou and I decided to start at the first podcast! Thing is, I recognise that I've given up on trying to read or learn anything because I don't retain anything or articulate it well. It is just too much time and effort if I'm not able to bring it back when I need it or talk like someone who is knowledgeable when the time comes. Can this ever change if I listen to you and try again?
