such a good song for how simple the composition is. carries a lot of weight. it really reminds me of "Something In The Way" by Nirvana in the sense it's simple, but gets the artist's message across without the need of much instrumental/lyrical exposition.

I was sexually and physically abused from the age of 3 till I was 13 my earliest childhood memory is one of pain self loathing and anger. This song was played with a clip of Rocket in Guardians of the Galaxy scene where he is in his cage as a baby and says his first word is “Hurts” And it breaks me cause I can relate only I had no Lyla to make it better or bearable. Im 44 now with medication and over 18 years of therapy and is still fresh. Great song so emotive and deep.
