To me without question the most underrated rapper ever been in game over 2 decades, I never get bored of Crooked. He has some of best flows, concepts, lyrics, cadence among other qualities. Other rappers like Royce to Em know they have to out on top of their game to compete when he's in the studio. I still catch new bars from songs ive listened to because he so intricate, blessed to be alive while he's rapping.
@@Samsara1-o9p I agree with everything you stated the only thing I have an issue with is his beat selection most of the time it sounds outdated or just bad especially on his solo stuff but aside from that he’s phenomenal
@@darkneji190hes been rapping for 30 years so most of the older beats are from a decade or more ago. Some are questionable to be fair but cant name one he didnt kill
@@themessiah7065 he still has chosen bad beats within the last 5 years or so still he does kill it every time but when he kills it on a bad or mid beat it just feels like a waste of bars cause I think because of the beat people wouldn't give it a second listen especially for new listeners
A know a lot of people would say Tupac or Snoop were the best to come off of Death Row but respectfully it was King Crooked. Now Snoop & Pac had a better Death Row catalogue but lyrically neither them are anywhere near Crooked's Level.

Crooked I was the best rapper in Slaughter House followed by Royce Da 5'9 and both of them were behind Eminem. that's a lot of talent for 1 label, 3 of the top lyrists ever. Unfortunately, they push garbage these days. They don't promote lyricism.
