Just starting with Arduino, since I finally had an application that would make me learn it. And this video showed me *exactly what I needed to know for this first shock sensing project. I replaced the shock switch on the KY-002 with a super-sensitive, fast-response SW-18010P, and it picks up the slightest vibration. The video details were great, the code works well, and I'm catching on! Thanks!!

You can use this kind of sensor, but maybe it's a little too sensitive. You also need a microcontroller (if it has to be a smaller one, you can use an ATtiny ) and you have to think about how you want to power your toy (battery or directly from a power supply). And then I think you are good to make a very nice pokeball 😉

I am curious, I would like to connect a shock sensor module to a toy ( DC) , without going through an assembly with arduino, could you tell me more or please the assembly of the connections?Best regards .

Hello, I think there could be two possible problems: 1) The wire connections are not correct 2) The sensor has a short circuit Where do you have your resistor ? between pin 2 and 3 ? Maybe try wiring the resistor between 1 and 2 ( as a pull-down ). Have a nice day 😊 !
