I am molecular biologist. I have started following Shykh Uthman’s videos recently and don’t know how much biology he knows. Surprisingly his arguments make sense. Environment can affect the expression of gene but cannot make new gene. Environment can turn some genes on or off or turn them up or down in intensity but cannot change the gene. Take the example of skin color. If you are living at hot place, your skin color cells produce more melonin that makes our skin black, at modest heat less melonin is produced and hence brown skin while at cold places least or no melonin is produced giving white tanning to skin. So environment here played with genes but didn’t make new gene. That’s exactly what Shakh was trying to make Haris bhai understand.

If Quran mentions only acceptable religions is Islam - does not mean it is. There are many verses that are not applicable for today. Many verses are factually wrong. Hadeeths has too many flaws.

In Surah Al- Hajj, verse 46, Allah gives this dire warning: "It is not the eyes that are blind, but their hearts which are in their breasts." If the heart is sick or blind, knowledge can produce disastrous results. The blind or sick heart distorts and dislocates knowledge.

what haris failed to understand is, when environment changes new circumstances are created and then we adopt to those changes but the ability to adopt has been programmed within us by Allah, neither environment nor we have done this on our own, secondly why did Allah not do it instantly, Allah has placed processes as described by brother Usman that we don't reach puberty all of a sudden it takes certain duration but by default we have certain behaviors which are shared by all humans and modification takes effect with the passage of time and when its not needed it goes away and we return to our original form e.g. extended breathing example given in debate
