I remember as a kid when this first released,I was partially raised by Japanese students who came to England after the earthquake in 2011 and they were the ones who taught me Japanese and introduced me to a whole range of new music and media that has always stuck with me.Its been 10 years since this released and I have changed a lot since then,I have been through literal hell and back which has resulted in me leaving everything I know behind multiple times but this song always made it easier to say goodbye to those chapters in my life.I am now 16 and tomorrow I go to my College taster day Kyary has massively impacted my life in so many ways and is one of my main inspirations for learning how to animate and sing.I look forward to what this new chapter of my life will bring :3 (p.s: things will always be ok in the end,if things aren't ok then its not the end just yet!)

at the beginning she said something about she made a really good memory but soon she has to say goodbye to her teachers and friends since shes leaving them (shes leaving for adult hood, she the kimono she wore at the end? that's called furisode where student are 20, they wore it as a sign that they are now an adult). So this song is about her feeling anxious for adulthood and she's walking down her memory lane remembering the stuff she did as a child. This song literal meaning is hello dream or smthing like that. Watching this makes me wish wearing outlandishly colored clothes was normal in society EDIT (Oct 2020): I never knew this blew up, YT never notified me of any replies, but thank you for my first 2k likes! To respond to questions and comments: I may have said outlandish, but what I probably had meant was all those unique clothing designs and color choices I've seen in fiction, especially JRPGs. If all those were normal in society, I'd probably see them as common but still interesting. I have visited Japan, but mostly the countryside and suburbs (visiting relatives), so I am yet to experience Harajuku. I've started dressing well from sometime in 2019, and people around me instantly started commenting about my outfits. My budget right now is going into hobbies, but the next time I visit Japan, I'll make sure to spare a lot of time for myself so that I can shop for clothes. I am male and currently live in the US.
