@Travis Hamler full disclosure, I'm not running it at 5,000 watts, it's probably more like 3500. 5000 would start a fire in my trunk. But I needed the 5,000 watt amp to be able to get clean power at 3500. You should check out nvx, small brand, but big Power for an extremely affordable price.

@Travis Hamler nice nice. I wanted a DC setup, but it was a bit out of my budget. But I have to say, I am quite thoroughly impressed with nvx. I started off with a pair of their six by nines thinking I was going to be quite disappointed, but I wasn't so I kept getting more and more and more until I got to the point I'm at now. Total system potential is 5800 RMS if you include full range Power, with a total cost of less than 1,300

I never metered mine, nor do I attend competitions. If I were to guess, I'd say low 40s on mine. Box is tuned for 34 HZ. Are you running a wall?
