Let's take a walk through the largest memorial in Kyiv. This entire complex dedicated to the Second World War shows how hard and complex victory was. The inscription on the memorial reads: "Their feats will live forever, their names immortal."
At the forefront of the complex stands the colossal steel statue "Motherland Mother." Its height is 102 meters, taller than the Statue of Liberty. It was erected in 1981 as a symbol of victory in the Second World War.
