Literally perfection weekly just 4 mor 10’s and she’ll have more tens than Nichols I can’t believe it! Edit: 3 more tens btw this is after her 10.0 on floor! ❤️
I’m so annoyed her elite coaches/USGA didnt embrace her after her growth spurt post-2012 London. Her height only serves to make her more elegant and her lines which were already fabulous, even more beautiful. I’m glad she found a home at UCLA that embraces her for everything she is, instead of everything she used to be.
What?? Do you have evidence of that? I think it was just a matter that Kyla couldn't keep up the difficulty with her height/injuries (double twisting Yurchenko, inbars, floor with four passes) - from what I have heard, her coaches are one of the kindest and considerate, but of course I could be completely off base
mykindoflibrarian howie said that, but that is not the reason why. When she retired (in 2015 btw, 2-3 years after her growth spurt STILL training with the same coaches), she was having a really tough time being consistent, the new code + Simone and others made it basically impossible for her to get another shot at the Olympics. He was simply saying that it couldve been better if she was a little shorter. Hes just stating an ideal fact - for example, a shorter swimmer will have a disadvantage against other taller swimmers, but they are still a swimmer.
@@mykindoflibrarian In addition to what exxism here said, I just listened to Sam's podcast with Kyla and she said that she had amazing coaches that supported her through her body changes
mykindoflibrarian will She be able to compete at the 2020 tokio games, just asking bc This is all New to me and I recently fell in love with the sport but was so sad When I heard how these girls lost their career and love fkr sport after those terrible coaches :(
college routines usually aren’t as difficult in ncaa as they are in elite, bc in ncaa it’s not about how hard the skills are, it’s about how perfect you do them. If you put in difficult skills but they aren’t perfectly executed, you’ll get deducted. That’s why she does what’s required and that’s it. She’s smart. That’s why she has no built in deductions.
*and the score was...?* why do yo u guys have to do this u post the routine it’s a beautiful routine and we don’t get to find out the score and their reactions to the score
Gymnastea *anyone can put anything in a title. Obviously this isn’t something people would lie about but there are strange people😂 and it would be nice to see their reactions*
