@Todd Lerfahndler Halo 2-early halo 3 was insane. Bungie(creator of halo) would post “tips” in the pre game lobbies, on how to best bully and harass other players. In halo 3 when you teabag someone their head gets stuck to your crotch and bobs up and down as you bag them. Cod is the mainstream meme but halo was the most toxic experience that will ever exist in a AAA game

I play 2b2t so use to the lord of the flies tribes of kids. But I played rust a couple times. I didn’t understand the different servers so I guess I picked the ones that people try hard. So I spawned in and some kid found me. He tried to get me to talk but I couldnt get my mic to work. So he proceeded to help me and took me to a tree and told me to start hitting it. Next thing I hear more kids in the area. One was like “who the fuck is that guy”. The kid that was helping me was like hes new, hes cool. The kid who I assume was the leader was like fuck that and they beat me down while I hear the one kid in the background saying sorry. Lol
Rust is a game that attracts no life incels, however it can be amazing at the same time. I’ve played since legacy around 2014 and I’ve got a ton of great memories with friends from playing it.
ive played rust since rocks could break anything. I have only had an AK once, when i was part of a group, Every other time played solo or with like 1 - 2 others and they take out base way before we can get the stuff to get an AK, Ive had the bolty and stuff a ton though. revolver, pistol, shotgun
Me and my friends where axe raiding and Someone passed by. We killed them and there clan followed us back to are base. We locked them in our base for 4 hours.

if you're talking about the webcam's blurry quality, its actually the fault of woody's recording/screen grabbing software and how he needs to shrink everyone's cams to make it fit on the screen. He admitted this in a PKN episode.

Rust has been optimized heavily in recent years, try it out. If you experienced latentcy as another commentor said you more than likely joined a server far away from you, which may be common with Day Z as it is a favored game in Europe
I play rust on a laptop with a Ryzen 3550 with a 1650 graphic card and get 50-70 FPS with pretty decent settings and a 40-45 latency/ping. The last 8+ months they have really upped the optimization, and are continuously doing it and working on moving fully over to the new unity engine. Also the game came out in 2013 and they still do updates monthly. You should be able to find a server with a good ping either official or community. You can sort by ping as well as far as I remember too. There are servers all over the world.
I've played rust and I gotta say it definitely is an ordeal and is frustrating but idk I think dota might be even more so of that type of game, I wouldn't even consider someone a proper noob in dota until they play 1k hours starting to teeter on Beginner, and every game the question bis not if your team will be toxic is how toxic will how many people on the team be and can I manage leaving them unmuted or are they literally gonna ear-rape and whine all game, but then next game, you get the little shit that just griefed, and you give him a dota 2 curbstomping, nothing feels better.
Kyle should play Arma 2, (Or I'm sure Arma 3 is the same shit) Epoch or Overpoch mod in a real sweaty server. Rust is child's play compared to the raids and stuff in that game.
