I’m the kid at 2:27 with the goofy swing. It was my first regional and I had a chance to qualify and face Zac Tackett who eventually won the whole thing. It was a blast of a weekend.

The little thoughts throughout a tourney from pro's like you guys is as important if not more then seeing every shot, thanx for the info! I been struggling lately as a house bowler. I'm speed dom as is & I'd gotten so comfy last few months taking most my hand out my shot and runnin it down 5-6 at arrows for almost 200 avg (good for me) but moved 1 my leagues to a diferent house and my main house put out a heavier THS and remembering how to put the hand back into it and doing it the same consistently has me all over the place. Variey will make me better in the long run I keep telling myself. Keep grindin, keep grindin lol

Sometimes the pins fall when they shouldn't, and sometimes they don't fall when they should. You wish you could bottle it up when the strikes are flowing, but it doesn't work that way. Keep grinding man.

Keep jammin brotha. I get that you have to play what the lanes give you, but those angles were just nutty. I always tried to keep it in front of me as possible. The less boards the ball touches the less that can go wrong :). I guess if I had your talent I would swing it too. I would love to see a tournament where you just concentrated on staying as far right on the lane as possible for an entire tourney if the lands allow it. Just to see what happens. Your physical game looks great. You look as healthy as you have looked in awhile. A win is soon to come!

I know that feeling. I put in a ton of work on my game, I go to Nationals and rolled the ball really well and scored like crap. I made the mistake of only taking three balls plus a spare. I will take away what I need to work on and get back to the practice sessions and get better for the next one. You have to take away the positives and move on.

It looked like you threw all strikes when shortening to a 3-step approach and left all 10 pins when using your full approach while using the phase V. Stick with the 3-step approach when it's working even if you have room for a full approach. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and strategies! Keep it up!

I won a tournament in Morgantown in the late 70s at Suburban Bowl using a Brunswick Black Beauty from the 50s. Threw a 6 bagger to close out the final game. Morgantown is very different than it used to be.

Enjoyed your vlog very much. It is always nice to hear what the best pros think when they struggle. I thought your physical game looked outstanding! Just never found the right ball and rangle to get better carry---just what you just said LOL. Were the bowlers scoring the best bowling with tighter angles? Sometimes straighter is greater. Question: at your level do you do anything with your eyes like look farther down lane to make the ball slide farther down and hook later or do you just go to a different ball?
