Kyle Larson is a cool calm driver he takes everything in as a grain of salt he analyzes everything that could be what has been what could of been. Kyle Larson is always be a champion in my eyes.
@@macrayurish3552 You should look at the bigger picture at what he was trying to accomplish with that It was trying to get the smaller teams paid It wasn't about him He can afford to go there for a week and hang out and not make much but for the smaller teams it is a huge financial endeavor. Imagine how much it cost to travel plus stay there for a week with all of your family and crew with only a shot to win about $10,000 which is small money in the scheme of things. He was doing it for the other teams not himself.
That's one of the harder hits I have ever seen, I'm really glad he's ok, the program sure didn't seem to give a shit, I was waiting to hear how he was, nothing, like they didn't even see it.
The coverage was really bad. I am convinced the director/producer (whoever is in charge of the production) has no idea what the average race fan is looking at or watching for during a race. It's amazing what they decide to show in favor of what is left out.
I think fox sucks when it comes to producing a race they dont have a clue what true race fan wants to see ,my advice let some one else do the prodcasting .
@@slayershine6220 Totally agree, NBC is no better though, I remember a time when ESPN carried all the races for years, they had it down perfectly, it's a disaster today, you see more ads than race, sure takes away from the sponsors on the cars, then people just change the channel, the problem just steam rolls.
The sad thing is that the safety equipment that would’ve saved dale was already being used by many drivers (including his son) when he passed but he wasn’t using it
@@quackers584HANS was not the only device being used, but Jr wore a Hutchens device, which is connected to the chest and neck I believe, but not the helmet like the HANS.
Dale’s hit was unique in that he hit the wall at an angle while Kenny Schrader simultaneously hit him in the side. That said, Dale liked to move around in the car and would have absolutely not worn any head / neck protection.
Well stop watching. Getting tired of crybabies complaining about the coverage. Cost millions per races to pay nascar for the right to broadcast. Got to pay for it somehow. People should Buy a ticket and go watch in person if they hate the TV.
I was watching Harvick and their live stream in car camera broadcast on you tube along with the bozo show fox controlled , Tony and Clint are good , but restrained probably by idiots producing.. Larson hit largely ignored. He was best driver and car in the whole damn show .
@@billtmarchi4320 the amount of commercials is a bit ridiculous and the same commercials as well especially that crappy Coke one lol. I found a stream online that was an international one with no commercials. Same commentary and everything
Couldn't agree more! Bro...they should call every race the commercial 500!!! The person who said ..."well stop watching" Sir ...people have stopped! TV & attendance has been down. It also obvious that you have not been a long time fan of Nascar. Back in the day...they showed 35 & 40 laps of a race! You could get interested in it. Now the race is just a vehicle for 4 hrs. So they can show commercials!!!! Every 8 laps...commercials.. to many commentators to much talking! I MISS BENNY & NED & BOB JENKINS!!!
He took a big hit. Watching Live I'm glad to know he was alright. Interesting to see the new mouthguard tech and hope it evolves into some thing to better understand CTE in Nascar
@@MarcusAurelius7777 everybody makes mistakes in their life even you You're no different from anybody else judging another person is forbidden in God's eyes how many hidden foul things you have in your closet? Or are you just Mr perfect? No room to talk !
That's exactly what it reminded me of!! Scary!! So glad he is ok. Wish they had that safety equipment when Dale raced. Kudos to Nascar for the safety upgrades
I´m an indycar fan. used to watch nascar too when i was younger but not much lately so i don´t know much about Larson to be honest, but I´m always happy to see American racers continue the tradition of racing in both of the top series, a la Mario and Foyt and Gurney. it was kinda novel to have JJ the last two years but I´d love to see a top Nascar driver who´s actually still in their prime try and convert to Indycars full time.
Yes he is Russell Turman, many fans aren’t aware of the many times he’s donated his dirt winnings to another team that’s not well funded! @Christain Fehr- keep your negativity to yourself!
Long time Larson fan here. It's obvious why he drives Cup. $$$, Family, and to be able to play in the dirt. He sure ain't in Cup for the fluffy feelings.
Yeah, Kyle's heart isn't in NASCAR. It's basically his 9-5 so that he can fund what he actually loves... and despite that he's still perhaps the best driver in the field.
Ya... his tears are from the fact that he almost lost his big source of income. I talked to a personal friend of his and he said Kyle would much rather be making his living on dirt. It's just two way different pay scales. Momma likes the big money... and so does he. But emotionally speaking, it's all about the dirt for him.
Kyle Larson, so very sorry you crash after being so clean for 199 laps with out a crash. Kyle you are still the BEST. I always root for number 5. Kyle just KEEP ON KEEPING ON 2/20/23 not counting overtime
@@user-Dr. Dale's autopsy report indicated he had a basiliar skull fracture, in simpler terms, internal decapitation. He did not hit anything, but everything in him was cut by his own bones due to the rapid loss of speed from the impact.
@@BladeBrigade7 Yep, and with all of that fancy speak, you forgot to mention the fact that, HIS HARNESS DID FAIL, I saw it, with that it was determined a head and neck restraint would have done little to no good. Very few, but some of us still have a memory.
I'd really like to see his heart rate through out a race. He seems like such a cool cucumber. I doubt his heart rate ever spikes. Ice water running in his veins.
when WAS the last daytona race that WASN'T overtime? stage racing sux. just more commercial time. If you're at the track, you have plenty of time to hit the head, get a few beers, meet the woman of your dreams, get married and divorced and make a trip to your car. At home, you can throw in a roast, invite some friends over and serve during ad time. Today was special. Just when fox goes to side by side coverage, the first big one breaks out. 10 commercials. no commentary. every year it gets harder to watch
Racing back to the line is a must if the haven't wrecked anywhere close to the line. Especially on a 2 1/2 mile track lol It used to be like that and it was so much better.
@@chrisanderson6204 I said the same thing to my wife. It’s annoying when you are trying to watch the race and they run stupid commercials on a split screen.
@@chrisanderson6204 I agree with all of your statements, the yellow line rule must go also, at this time, only the toyotas can go below the yellow line and advance.
Better luck next Sunday 02/26 Mr Lyle karson & hope that infield care practioners stay health too during the spring FLA weather GOODLUCK🍀#5& pit crew#5 This week safe- travels too ur next location, safe working-skills pitcrew 🌹#5 LARson takecare urselves crew members, carhauler, crewchief & LARSON you sure have overcome trials an struggles sincerely absolutely fans always chasing #5 LArsoN 💓your dirttrac racing style
It's because he raced very smartly for 99% of the race. He was patient until the end. Oftentimes that's how you have success at these tracks. This racing isn't at all his style. He's my favorite driver. I'm happy with how well he did.
Yung Money had a great chance to win but got almost no help during the last G-W-C. Bell was pushing but Allmendinger dropped way back leaving them alone against several cars in the outside line. When he went to the middle Bell bailed and left him alone. A lack of pushers cost him the trophy.
Not crazy about going to Chicago for the cup race. Wish they would’ve kept it in Elkhart Lake anyways we love you in Milwaukee Larson open to analyze your mouthpiece with a computer you get your answers we hope.
I just love this kid, he’s got a great head on his shoulders. But after the crash and they didn’t let all us fans know what was happening with him, got really mad. All the Best to you this season Kyle…..
Network coverage is just crap. All the pre race stuff and commercials ruins the event. Then after the race, they cut off so quickly. You need to let fans know if drivers are ok after crashes like that.
Yeah the commercial breaks were so many especially the first half of the race that I literally didn't know what was going on in the race. I've been done with Nascar for years now. I thought I would check this race out though and I do not think I will be watching anymore.
Watched Hudson O'Neal start 23rd and drive his a$$ off to win last night at Volusia. He didn't pass one car by needing another car to ram him. Over 50 minutes of commercials during this race including one segment in which a wreck happened during a side-by-side commercial and of course Fox kept playing the commercials. Millions of dollars of equipment destroyed and no offense to Stenhouse but skill, experience and the fastest car had nothing to do with the outcome. It's no wonder NASCAR is always chasing new fans. Anyone with half a brain gets bored with what they put out-unless you're watching for the crashes. Pssst! That's not racing. After watching what NASCAR calls racing I'd pay twice as much for my DIRTVision and Floracing subscriptions if I had to.
The wrecking crew control the aftermath if they cant win . With No one saying A word from Nascar , NO dought RCR and Kyle were not going to Win under No Circumstance ; Nascar can paint A very disturbing Picture
Overtime is such a crash fest. It ends up being a demolition derby. Kyle took a crazy hard hit. Head on into the wall. How many g’s? Glad he’s okay. But it’s too dangerous. Someone is going to get seriously hurt or worse. We don’t wanna see that. Please no more overtime.
I am afraid some body is going to get hurt again with this type of nonsense. I want to see racing not yellow flags not segments and not wrecks. Wrecks are unavoidable but don’t promote them with unnecessarily dangerous racing scenarios.
Garbage production from the FOX team. Not a mention of the crash or anyone involved in it. I turned it off after seeing Stenhouse do his interview and still no word yet. What a sloppy handling of that by them. But hey, keep running those commercials.
Can we as a community stop overlooking into things? All weekend starting with Busch in the Duel and the caution time in Mayer's wreck, just let the sport play out and trust that those at the top have learned from last year. The more we instigate, the worse it may get
Damn....between the Hans device, softer barriers and car design, drivers almost appear immortal. Now if we could have all that in a non-aero dependent, high horsepower car like years gone past combined with this staged points system!!!!!! I believe we would be back to some REAL RACING with a stong hint of the past to it.
I think u better go watch it again....Larson went in the middle and was getting pushed into the lead when someone on the inside row lost it and hit Larson in the left rear causing him to hit the wall....how exactly did he screw up?!!!that's how u win at a 2.5 mile superspeedway...not playing follow the leader...sure the middle was falling back but the middle had time to move up to the lead before they got to the finish line
So lame to hope any of them wrecks a bunch and gets hurts with the way the cars are built now that’s definitely not showing good sportsmanship. I don’t want to see any of them get hurt like them or not. @michael Rasmussen
@@juangallegos6786 yes but you didn’t call him an idiot I don’t believe any of them should be called an idiot they all make their fair share of mistakes. Like I said above I don’t like to see any of them get wrecked especially a bad wreck but any wreck in those cars could potentially turn into a injury
