@@yatesy117EA will never give players big upgrades unless they are very low rated. I agree that it is a joke but it’s just how EA works. It’s best to just assume the ratings will be awful so there is nothing to get mad at.

His physicality and pace are big contributors to that, though. He isn't necessarily above 80 at tackling, interceptions or awareness, and he's probably got mediocre for heading, so a 79 is fairly accurate on that while still leaving him as an effective defender in game.

He is probably the best right defender right now. He is able to run the field back and forward the whole 90 minutes. He is really good attacking and defending. So, he at least needs to be 88 or 89 overall.
