I like Kyle for who he is and what he does, at the same time I have serious reservations about 13 Fishing’s rods. My reservations come from the reviews on 13 Fishing’s rods and two very concerning things. Rod breakage and very concerning customer service or I should say the extreme lack there of. I understand Kyle is under contract to make these videos and promote their products and he’s gonna do his job. These rods sound great and all but I have to remember if he sets a hook and his $350 rod breaks he gets another one from his garage or wherever and edits the video and goes on while I’m out of a $350 rod with with zero customer service. I think everyone needs to keep in mind what you’re watching here is a “commercial” for 13 Fishing by a paid employee trying to sell you a product. Keep yer worms 🪱 wet everyone ✌️

I keep it neatly tucked into a regular backpack all the time with my fishing gear, and can grab it anytime, put it on my back and go anywhere. I just read in another review that the rod length below the reel is adjustable as well, so I will try that too for even more portability. Probably the best setup I've ever owned. I lost the cap for the eyelets, but no big deal since I still have the black cloth sheath that came for the pole and I use that. Very portable and high quality.
I have not been able to use the other 2 rods. A gentleman was nice enough to let me cast and fish with the 7'4" for a couple hours. I was really surprised at how good it felt. Best I can describe it is has fiberglass tip with graphite sensitivity and handled 1/2 oz chatterbait perfectly. Not noodle feeling like a lot of chatterbait rods. Much stronger and sensitive than I thought it would be. Just my opinion. I was impressed enough to order one.
@dropzBiG it looks like they upgraded the blank slightly which should make it lighter and more sensitive and maybe a slightly bigger butt end. I will say, I loved first Gen and if they made it even slightly better then I'm excited!
We just got a handful of them at the office. Haven't fished them yet but they feel and look great. Welcher and Zaldain have been putting 'em through the ringer for a while and speak highly of them.
