It's that but also the fact she just hasn't spent enough time over there on building a proper career hence the lack of proper tours. She and her record companies never tried hard enough. Can't Get You Out Of My Head took off in America in the March of 2002, six months behind the rest of the world, and again she only started to promote X and nearly every album since nany months after their release dates in America with a few TV shows here and there so there was always a lack of radioplay around the album releases... only until now with Tension has she and her label changed strategy and spent time in America before the album came out but it hasn't paid off sadly. Padam didn't dent the Top 100 and Tension peaked at #21.

Love this song but I’m absolutely blown away by the whole album. It is the only album I’ve constantly listened to over and over and over again in many, many years! It’s euphoric and the quality of the production is second to none. Kylie’s voice has never sounded better and those visualisers are stunning.. as is Kylie. Best album yet! I was introduced to her the same way! Of course I knew CGYOOMH but only the song. "Say Something" popped up on my Release Radar as a random pick and I ended up loving the song and then DISCO and the rest of her discography. Here now for Tension & waiting on a vinyl boxset for the album like I was able to get for DISCO :)

It's a crime the Kylie team, did not produce a Music Video for this single. It could have been as epic as 'All The Lovers' but not enough Strategic Thought, Marketing and PR and no music video!! Especially, when this song brings so much hope to the good of a happy 'now' moment, when the world is actually and rapidly falling apart - this song represents what music is made for!! A travesty of missed opportunity. All for what - Vegas ? The same goes for Things We Do For Love. Visualizer was nice, but actors could have been filmed in scenarios without Kylie needing to be present, inline with lyrics, to create a real video, merged with Kylie dancing and then released later, rather than all at once!!. This is at least a 4 single and music video album, cut short due lack of planning and staggered release of content.

I agree!! It's pretty rare for an artist from the 80s to be releasing consistently amazing music. Most older singers do concerts relying on their old 80s material only and never sing their newer crappier stuff. Kylie is actually producing better music as she ages?! I can totally see "Hold On To Now" being performed at every Kylie concert in future! It has become a Fan Favorite and new Kylie Classic song!!
