Tension > Padam Padam. It's not that complicated. The lyrics use simile to describe Kylie as a bunch of different things to her lover. Sorbet, chili, vacay, etc. Thus, the video features a homunculus Kylie (in black) influencing and interacting with representations of a bunch of different Kylie which in turn reference various eras: soft, pink girl next door Kylie, Showgirl Kylie, Fever Kylie, etc.

It’s definitely a grower and addictive. I loved the pulsing blue light in sync with the piano at the beginning and isn’t she just the Queen of music videos?! Always a feast for the eyes and I’m a straight female

I really think this video is a call back to the same vibe as Did It Again; she keeps reinventing herself, and we get the sparkle Disco Kylie, the robotic Processed Kylie, the little yellow Showgirl Kylie (as well as a tip of the hat to the cancer recovery), but in the end, it’s still the simple, stylish pink girl next door who walks in and walks away…

This video refers blade runner 2049 movie and the showgirl is a reference to her vegas shows and her multiple costumes with feathers for her tours 2005, 2006, 2011, 1998

I think Red Kylie is Love/Lust, Black Kylie is Anger/Saddness? Yellow Kylie is Happiness stuck in the middle, and the tension and war is between 'love and hate' with happiness in the middle. I think holographic Kylie is the conscious 🤔
