I am looking into buying this to replace my mother's 5 year old Kyocera Dura from 2015 which is starting to have call issues and overheats on long calls. I have to say these phone hold up very well. I will my Iphones were this durable

Not quite, nextel was IDEN that network was shut down by sprint years ago.

MY KYOCERADURAXV LTE HAS BEEN WORKING GREAT WHEN TEXTING INSIDE USA, BUT NOW EVERY SINGLE MESSAGE SENT TO MEXICO IS RECEIVED THRU DIFFERENT USA NUMBERS SO GOING FORTH AND BACK IS IMPOSSIBLE. CALLED HORIZON (CARRIER), ATT (L D CARD) AND VERIZON DON'T GIVE ME ANY SOLUTION AT ALL. APPRECIATE ANY IDEA THAT CAN HELP.

@Will lol what a response. 1. Google Assistant and Bixby are two totally different programs. 2. I can still trace your location and get access to every word you speak on a phone call you make with a flip phone. 3. Smart phones don't listen 24/7. Stop investing, you don't know what you're talking about.
