I appreciate your video , but this Machine is a real POS. There is a cam on the left side of the fuser and for what ever reason it's up the fuser will not go in . You have yo Power up and let cam go down. The service manual makes no note . I do think you made a good video and again thank you
Hi Thanks for the video. I have a Kyocera Ecosys M6635cidn that I changed the fuser for today. My issue was that the printer printed with smudges and marks all on the left side of the paper. I thought it was the fuser. Since the new fuser, same issue. The smudges and marks appear in seperate spots. What do think I have to replace now?
It's most likely one of the drums or developing units. Change the drum that corresponds to the color smudge you have. If it happens on all the colors, it could be the belt.
@@jaykomthongpane4941 Its hard to say exactly without samples. But I would start with the black developing unit. Send me a sample to info@supertechs3.com
Waste Toner is empty and the printer display shows an error as if it were full, the bottle is replaced, a new one is inserted and the same message appears. how to solve a problem, kyocera 3550 Thanks
Just be aware on the Kyocera M3540i on the new fusers the white sensor plug is very short with hardly any slack. It gives you no warning when taut, so must make that the very last thing you plug in. That is you must finally get the fuser in with lever up 25 Degrees perfectly, screw in,then finally plug in white sensor plug ; otherwise will break it ( new ones do not break a way from another plug). Does anyone know if anyone repairs these? If so, who?
will not pull paper from cassette 1, remove cassette 1,error occurred at casette 1, check inside the machine and remove paper jams, close the cassette those messages appear on the display, I took out a piece of paper that we have, what next thank you
Remove the paper tray and look into the printer, you should see a white actuator hanging to the left. It should move up and down freely, if it's not, it came out of place and needs to be reinstalled.
You can tell a rookie tech a mile off. You don't need to take the cover off. You just push in on it and let it hang. You have a greater chance of harming the connectors by unplugging and plugging back.
